  1. Paying child support for one child when you're a millionaire isn't something to murder over. If that's the story, then he's an idiot. (Not that there's many murder scenarios that make a whole lot of sense, but still)
  2. It's good to be in a situation where we'll be disappointed when someone is cut. That's the sort of depth we've lacked for a long time now. Gone are the days of relying on Tashard Choice in case of emergency.
  3. Gonna laugh/cry if all of them are suspended for a game or more.
  4. He'd play right away for us, if his talent is as advertised. There's a lot of teams about on our level where he wouldn't. We have a good team with a weak OL, and a charismatic coach... We got a good chance, though obviously no guarantee.
  5. How long until someone predicts he'll unseat EJ?
  6. There's no guarantee he makes the squad, if he performs in preseason, awesome, if not, no big loss. It's worth kicking the tires on, because he was solid as a depth player when Pettine was here.
  7. Welcome!
  8. I wonder if the Bills will give him a few reps at Safety also, to see if they have a guy that can fill in in emergencies.
  9. In the highlights, he comes off kinda small... is he more an HB type than a TE? (I should probably read the thread) Edit: Ok, his stats make him seem bigger than the eye test. I'll just shut up now.
  10. Carrington provides pretty solid depth, which we might not get out of a late round draft pick... so I'm ok with potentially losing a compensatory pick.
  11. I admittedly don't. I see a 30 as a form of 3-4, and a 40 as a form of 4-3. Or is this a 40 plays different gaps than a "standard" 4-3, thing?
  12. Of course he might be a POS. But he also might have been a kid making mistakes that he'll learn from and not make again. If he's ****ty and into shady things while on the team, I hope we send him packing. But for all we know he was immature in dealing with a personal decision, he learned his lesson about it... and the drug thing, he just had the wrong friends. We don't really know.
  13. Listened to the above link and watched more highlights... I'm really excited about this guy. He's my official favorite pick of the draft (though I generally know nothing of college players hah). He displays good vision, from what I can tell... has patience, and turns on the burners at the right time. Isn't afraid of contact. Will get low to meet 2nd level players to push through them. Makes clean cuts, but doesn't dance around and run backwards it seems. But again, this is just from highlights... for all I know, the non highlights he's screwing the pooch every play. I think his power running style will work with Roman's designs quite nicely. Since I don't have any attachment to Brown, I kinda hope Williams makes the team instead of Brown if they only have room for 3 RBs. Edit: Found game clips... the above stands... he sometimes gets tackled a bit too easy in the legs because of his height, but that's just the downside of his size. Also, I notice a lot of defenders take bad angles on him... I assume, partially, because it's college ball, but I also wonder if it's because he has deceptive speed. Also, then there's highlights of his defensive/special teams:
  14. So is it too soon to call this guy a bust? He doesn't have any INTs yet.
  15. This it? http://media.wgr550.com/a/104660291/rb-karlos-williams-conference-call.htm
  16. Thanks for the expanded info... All I can do is hope that's not a trend for him, and just immaturity at the time. Mostly because now he's a Bill, and his highlight reel looks awesome
  17. If I'm understanding, he was investigated for both, but not charged? That says the domestic thing could be as simple as a loud yelling match in an apartment with thin walls, and just having ****ty friends. I have to assume the Bills talked to him, and told him that **** wouldn't stand here, and told him he has one chance.
  18. The Bills have enough talent that they didn't *need* to draft for need with more than a couple picks. The rest of the draft seems to be just going after talented players they liked. I think that says good things, imo.
  19. This plus a list should be in the first post of the thread (and if any other analysis pops up for these guys)
  20. McCoy is the only sure thing in the backfield this off season.... FredEx, Brown, Boobie, and Karlos will be battling it out for two spots. I could see FredEx being one of the two, but I could also see him not. Because I like him and think he's awesome, I hope he steps up to the challenge.
  21. You know what I like about this sort of pick? We have a lot of talent in a lot of places, with not many glaring holes other than QB. This is a luxury pick, not a need pick. We got some good backs fighting it out in camp, and we're gonna end up with an awesome backfield once the season starts Wow, that clip has me excited for this kid. He's big, fast, makes good cuts, and churns out tough yards. He's a freaking beast!
  22. I doubt Incognito will dare try to bully this locker room. Not only because it's his last chance, but also because there's a few Bills there that will put him in his place.
