Of course a fine isn't a real penalty, that's why I think Brady will receive a fine. He's one of the faces of the NFL. The Patriots are "America's Team" (along with the Cowboys). They bring in big money to the league. I'm actually surprised the NFL investigated this in any serious way, and I'm more surprised they allowed the results to be brought to light. So hey, maybe I'll be surprised by the penalty.

What has the NFL done to players/teams that cheat in the past? Spygate resulted in a fine. Tomlin was fined for interfering with a play. What about players that have been caught cheating? I can't recall any major stories. Nothing for players who do other things to change the outcome of the game. I'm sticking with my prediction of a fine.

Any way to find out stats/rankings on how successful our run defense was with 7/8/9 in the box? I'm curious to find out if we were a stronger run defense with a base D (vs a base offense) or if we were equally successful with a nickel package (vs a 3wr offense)

Bellicheat was only fined $500k, and the organization lost a pick, for the videotaping scandal. Which, some would consider worse. Brady will be fined, and that's about it. It'll be a story, the story will be more ratings, the ratings will bring more money.

Doesn't matter if the findings are "bad", its the Patriots, and it'll be a slap on the wrist. Tom Brady is the face of the NFL more often than not. No way they hit him hard.

I guess he's not aware that Tony Stewart slid into a guy on the track, killing him.

I bet Brady is suspended for week 4 of Pre-Season, then given a bonus by the NFL.

It's pretty obvious that the Bills staff doesn't believe he fits this defense, even if the locker-room loved him. Not sure why anyone is surprised he might be visiting another team, including the Patriots.

I don't have too many local friends, and I imagine our life paths will separate us eventually anyways... so I always imagine getting a cabin in the woods somewhere, and spending my days reading and looking at trees.
