So when a player underperforms and is cut that is okay? If a player outperforms and holds out that is bad? I am glad that most of this board sides with the billionaire in the luxury box over the millionaire on the field.
Marine Vet here, thank you for thinking of Wounded Warriors but it is still uplifting to see the support she has received. It is good to see people helping Karen and makes going to war easier knowing that the people we are defending are capable of this.
In a billion dollar game, where you can be dropped at any time, there is no "don't screw us and we won't screw you". If anyone but NE had done this no one would have cared. This thread is solely based upon the hatred Bills fans have for NE. It is old and pathetic at this point.
From my time in the Corps I learned the following:
1) Exercise
2) Eat right.
3) Maintain a consistent schedule.
4) Take unseen obstacles in stride, don't bother worrying since it won't help, and push through.
5) If something seems too big to handle break it down to its simplest parts and go from there.
6) Have sex (with females, you perverts) as much as possible.
I find it hard to believe that it was worse that Iraq or the 'stan. I was in Iraq, that place was brutal but then again you may have gotten out before we went in.
Thanks for your service brother.
Thanks for saying what I felt in a very well thought out manner.
Also thanks to everyone who takes a moment amidst the celebrations to remember our fallen Marines, Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen, and Coasties.
Just like teams are so ready and willing to take players interests into account. It's a business, Brees was WAY underpaid at 10/mil per (relative to performance and other players contracts, all players are overpaid but that is not the issue here) and he never held out. Now it is his turn to be paid in accordance to his ability.
Sorry to hear about your loss FinSD, I am sure Bernard had a great life with you.
JBoys, that is not an enviable position to be in and I wish you the best as you make a very difficult decision.
This is what I am thinking as well. He has all the tools but needs to make better plays on balls in the air. An improved pass rush should lead to more inaccurate passes, which hopefully he grabs and takes to the house.
