I imagine it is really hard for fans like you when we perform so well and win so easily. Sorting through all those positives for something to complain about must be exhausting.
I prefer to support my team with optimism and always believe there is a way to win the division or get to the playoffs until mathematically impossible. That's why I don't believe in "must win" mid-November games. When you're sitting around .500 there's no such thing in the literal sense.
I'll have another glass of kool-aid, please. Those losses taught us a lot. Patriots lose three in a row while we're winning three.
If Indy can win tonight then NE is looking at possibly three losses in a row with Detroit and GB up next. Not only are our playoff hopes alive and well, but the division title is still well within reach.
Practice squad could be the way to go. Now, I don't know the PS backs around the country, but I know there are at least some decent backs available.
Because I live in Colorado I know Kapri Bibbs is on Denver's practice squad. He ran for 31 TDs, over 1700 yards and a 6.2 average per carry last year at Colorado State.
Anyone know of backs in your region of the country that may be available?
Why, when other teams win despite penalties, turnovers, bad breaks, injuries, etc. it's because they are good teams, but when we do it it's an embarrassment?
I don't get how some fans are negative no matter the outcome.
If Jets win tonight and then we go into their house next week and win after taking care of Minnesota at home... There may just be a few more optimistic folks on this board.
Agreed. Jets are not really THAT bad. They were right there in games against Chicago, GB, and Detroit.
They have mostly been competitive and have played tough, but just couldn't pull out a W.
Where have I seen this before? Seems so familiar for some reason.
