  1. The point is that any half competent coach could win with this team for the next two years. I would have liked a hire who could win consistently for the next 20. Yea. Douchey Jets fans.
  2. You know what good coaches do if their defense requires CBs and they don't have any? They scheme a different defense that plays to the strengths of the players they do have.
  3. Yea. A future where Rex does really good again for two years after inheriting a stacked team (defensively at least), and then finishes out the last three years of his contract with losing records.
  4. Oh my fault. Yea, it's not important to relate to the fan base in any way.
  5. Actually, yea. With the talent on this team and another year having worked together, we'd likely be in the playoffs next year with any of the twelve we interviewed. That doesn't mean they are all good hires.
  6. A down-to-earth, we're in this together, the group is more important than the individual, I bust my *ss everyday just to scrape by and survive type of guy. Or, is that not the mentality you see everyday from folks in Buffalo? ... Yea, Rex doesn't have this. All he cares about is himself and running off his mouth to get attention...for himself.
  7. Oh good! Can't wait to have an offense that can't get the WRs the ball, doesn't know how to use a stud TE, and needs either the QB or RB to get 150 yards on the ground to be successful.
  8. The thing that bothers me the most is we have a really talented team that was likely going to make the playoffs next year anyway. Now this worthless sack of crap is gonna get credit for it. Can't wait to hear this fat POS run his mouth off all the time. Sorry, but he's not a Buffalo type of guy who's humble with working class roots/mentality. He's a "I'm better than everyone else" type of guy.
  9. Posted in another thread, but....Dabo Swinney. Knows how to use CJ and Sammy. Previous WR and WRs coach. Built a good D at Clemson and knows how to win. Oh, and that whole nice guy, knows how to talk to the press, good personality thing.
  10. Dream Coach: Dabo Swinney: Great offensive mind who played WR and coached on the offensive side of the ball before becoming a HC. Has also built, or made the right hires to build, a really good D. Great personality as well to handle our overwhelming media, and seems to be a guy players buy into. Oh yea, can use guys like Sammy and CJ (if back) effectively and in unique ways. Eh: Schwartz and Reich both fall here for me. Good minds, specific specialty areas for each, the ability to comprehensively oversee a successful team, yet to be decided. HELL NO: Hue Jackson...just NO.

  12. Saying it again...Dabo Swinney! On top of being a former WR and WRs coach and proving he knows how to use Spiller and Watkins, his defenses have been solid. Well rounded coach who understands both sides of the ball, and get this, has a great personality!
  13. Time to get Dabo Swinney on the phone.
  14. Best coach since Ralph ran Wade out of town. Who cares if Doug was a little smug. He changed the loser attitude of this organization and the players gave their all and bought what he was selling.
  15. I did say reception! He's made some good throws on the last few drives.
  16. Anyone else just see Grayson's 39 yard TD reception?
  17. I'm a little bias since I watched CSU games every week, but I would be quite okay with Garrett Grayson in the 3rd, and definitely in the 4th. Granted, the Mountain West competition is not stellar, but he has the physical tools to succeed. This year he has thrown for 3,779 yards, 32 TDs, and 6 INTs, with a 64.8% completion percentage CSU Rams are playing in the Las Vegas Bowl tomorrow. I'd be interested to hear some thoughts after the game http://www.rotoworld.com/recent/cfb/133328/garrett-grayson
  18. I imagine it is really hard for fans like you when we perform so well and win so easily. Sorting through all those positives for something to complain about must be exhausting.
  19. I prefer to support my team with optimism and always believe there is a way to win the division or get to the playoffs until mathematically impossible. That's why I don't believe in "must win" mid-November games. When you're sitting around .500 there's no such thing in the literal sense. I'll have another glass of kool-aid, please. Those losses taught us a lot. Patriots lose three in a row while we're winning three.
  20. Even with a playoff appearance, and Marrone finding a way to sick around, Hackett needs to go. I hear Charlie Weis needs a job.
  21. If Indy can win tonight then NE is looking at possibly three losses in a row with Detroit and GB up next. Not only are our playoff hopes alive and well, but the division title is still well within reach.
