  1. With all of the injuries to our offensive line it would make since to bring Jasper.... Ahhhhh just screwing around, but somewhat surprised I haven't seen this as a serious post.
  2. So Edwards placed James Carpenter on IR?? Horrible writing.
  3. Exactly! Stupid to go to TJ a day after talking about how he doesn't play more because he can't be trusted to run routes properly. Have to go to Stevie, CJ, or Chandler in that situation.
  4. I was one that was a little upset when Bell left town. I always thought he was very talented. After watching him tonight on MNF I'm glad he never played another snap for us. His play is atrocious and his penalties are killing any momentum the Eagles manage to get. Remember when our O-Line was one of the worst in the league? I think I know what part of the problem was. BTW he's at RT tonight not LT.
  5. So this means that since we already used our bad 50% on Losman that no matter who we take in the first will be a stud! That's how percentages and probabilities and odds work, right?
  6. This times 1000. Barkley is definitely not the answer. Plus, what has any USC QB ever done in the NFL to make us think we should take a chance on one? Leinert, Sanchez, Palmer? No thanks! Actually, the Bills even tried it once, for a pretty steep price I might add. His name was Rob Johnson. How'd that work out for us? We badly need a QB of the future, but for the love of everything good in this world drafting Barkley may be too much for me to handle as a Bills fan, and I'm still optimistic that Fitz will light it up the second half of the season.
  7. So essentially you want Steve Fairchild to be our Offensive Coordinator again?
  8. Ridiculous that we cannot run the clock out when we have a lead late.
  9. The Braves got me on the board in 1995! Although I was only 11 years old at the time I remember it being sweet because my best friend was an Indians fan. My first championship during my adult life was the Penguins in 2009! I'm sure I'll get a lot of hate about that on this board. I never watched hockey until I went away to college, which happened to be just north of Pittsburgh, and of course every Penguins game was always on TV, thus I became a Pens fan starting in roughly 2002. I'm still waiting on the Bills to win a Super Bowl and the Purdue Boilermakers to pull out either a NCAA football or basketball championship. It appears as though I'll be waiting a long time.
  10. Exactly! Glad I got an agreement before a "Fitz sucks" comment. I would also love to see more of the split backs formation with Freddy and CJ setting up simultaneously on opposite sides of the field for a catch and run out of the backfield.
  11. Looking at this list, I'm not exactly sure SI understands the meaning of underrated.
  12. So this article was just posted on ESPN http://espn.go.com/b...rick-throw-deep Here is what I do not get. Johnson and Jones both often beat their man within the first 10 yards off the line (I looked for links to video of this but could not find them...sorry). So for now this is based on my observations from watching every snap of every game on a 60'' plasma. Why do we then wait to try to connect on a pass that has to travel 50 yards through the air, which we know Fitz cannot throw with any consistency (or at all). Why not design plays to hit our receivers 15 yards out with room to run instead of attempting to throw that deep. There is a much better chance to drop the ball over a WRs shoulder at 15 yards than there is at 50 yards. And yes, at that point they would still have to beat the safety, but it is better than our WRs stopping or having to come back to the ball because it didn't make it all the way to them. Actually, we don't even have to design these plays. We alreay have these plays. I see them often. Instead of the getting the ball out to them though Fitz waits for them to run another 35 yards then tries to hit the homerun. It just does not make sense to me. If our receivers beat their cover guy they have the speed and/or moves to then beat the safety. The yards are there to be had, we just need to take them.
  13. I was actually hoping GB would give us a call about Freddie and the real Spiller era would begin with White as the change of pace and short yardage back. The guy runs so physical and hard. And, don't get me wrong about Freddie. I love the guy and have always been a huge fan, but as they say, it's a business. At the end of the day our best chance to win is Spiller touching the ball 20 to 25 times a game.
  14. First of all, it blows my mind Chan makes the call to not kick a FG from 53 in OT. Second, why do we have a kick-off specialist that rarely kicks it out of the back of the end zone (like he was kept to do) and a FG kicker that we don't trust to kick from over 50? If a kicker can't consistently hit from 50+ there is should be no place for them in the NFL.
  15. I agree. When Kelsay has his hand down on the line he can be very good.
  16. The guy keeps his mouth shut and plays football. Actually, he plays football hard, and at times, at a very high level. In a sports world full of thugs and cry babies, I'll take this any day. Chris Kelsay is the definition of blue collar; an underdog that goes to work every day and puts in his time no matter what other people are saying and not concerned that he may not be quite as physically gifted as the next guy. You think being Buffalo fans and from the area more of you would appreciate that.
  17. Good breakdown of the Denver game mentioned in the OP.
  18. I know that Chris Kelsay is a favorite target for bashing on this site, but I'm excited to have him back on the field. Say what you will about his overall production (which I do not think is really that horrible) the guy has been a staple for this team season after season and gives his heart and soul to this team, and he does it for less money than many other lesser players would in Buffalo. Having him and his leadership back on the field will be huge. He also brings that passion that, from other posts, many of you say is missing from this team. He never quits on a play, and may have even more succes with Williams, Dareus, and Williams garnering much of the attention from opposing OLs. He really had some good games at the end of last year as a starter (7 Tackles and a sack against Miami, 10 tackles and 3 sacks against Denver) and I expect solid, with an occasional exceptional, performances from him for the remainder of this year as he is penciled in as the starter.
  19. AZ has No offense and horrible OL (specifically OTs) is why we will win this game.
  20. This was the second week in a row Kolb was sacked more than 8 times. The results were an effect of more than a good St. Louis defense. Phoenix is weak up front on O and have a QB that cannot make quick decisions. We can exploit this with our D plus put up 24+ points on offense and win.
  21. St. Louis is beating the OTs and hitting Kolb literally almost every play. We will take advantage of the poor O-Line play of Phoenix and win that game. BTW St. Louis in not Blitzing either.
  22. The high/low hit on Fitz was much worse! It got a replay, but the announcers did not even mention that it was an illegal hit. Ridiculous!
  23. They do. I'm looking for the away, limited jersey though.
  24. HaHa ... It also says Visa is the official card of the NEL. Not sure how a site can get away with using the NFL and Bills logos when they are not legit.
