  1. I need to post more often and make more friends so people will actually respond to me. The only thing I ever did wrong was express my displeasure of the Rex Ryan hiring. But I'm fully on board now and actually love that he is our head coach. I promise.
  2. I really do not think EJ has looked any worse or better than any of the other QBs overall (based on impartial tweets, TBD reports, and the first preseason game). He has the highest ceiling. That said, I truly believe his leadership skills, or lack thereof, are holding him back. Can he take command of the huddle, get in someone's face when needed, and truly motivate and control his teammates on and off the field. I'm really not sure that he can, at least not at this point. If he had this ability, I think he would be at the top of the depth chart.
  3. One of the biggest pieces of his development is likely undoing what Marrone and Hackett screwed up the past two years.
  4. Though his time exclusively with the 3s and "maybe some reps with the 2s" seems to indicate he has fallen behind, I do like the idea of him getting all the reps he can. He was clearly mishandled his first two years in the league and almost undermined by the coaching staff. I still believe EJ can be the long term answer at QB, but I guess we'll see. I will admit TT was exciting to watch on Friday and kept the offense moving. EJ is going to get the majority of the game Thursday. I wonder what happens to the competition if he does something ridiculous like 22 of 25, 3TDs, 285 passing and 40 on the ground.
  5. I get a little sad every time I read a tweet mentioning EJ working with the 3s. I won't accept it. He can still win this thing!
  6. Shouldn't we take time to analyze and read way too far into the order they're listed?
  7. I mean... They do have the best D line in the NFL though.
  8. Up to 15, impressive actually. However, failing to mention EJ in their comment is stupid. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/the-shutdown-corner-2015-pre-preseason-power-rankings-030442249.html "15. Buffalo Bills Tyrod Taylor winning the starting quarterback job would be a crazy story. He has completed one NFL pass since 2012. But it sure seems, from reports there, like he's had a much better camp than Matt Cassel."
  9. 1. Buffalo Bills 2. Purdue Football 3. Atlanta Braves 4. Pittsburgh Penguins 5. Tiger Woods
  10. Enjoy watching the Broncos, simply because they always seem to have a talented roster, but my overall feelings are meh. Now, when Tebow was there, I made it a point to tune in and watch any game that didn't interfere with Buffalo. The excitement he brought was making me a fan, but that didn't last long.
  11. Matthew Stafford's rookie year mic'd up made me a fan, and I've enjoyed watching him ever since - Also, ever since his K-State kick returning days, I have really enjoyed watching Darren Sproles. Fitzpatrick, Larry Fitzgerald, and Russel Wilson are a few others.
  12. Did he get a key to the city? Cause....I think that is the only way the city can determine who the biggest star is.
  13. What if EJ leads us to a 13-3 record but goes down in the 4th quarter of week 17 with a season ending, non career threatening injury. Then Tyrod starts and wins all playoff games, including the Superbowl. Who do you start in 2016?
  14. Since it seems as though the unthinkable can happen around here...Let's bring Cobb in to go along with Sammy and Shady on this O.
  15. Live in Fort Collins, Colorado. Four guys at the office that are fairly dedicated sports fans. A lot of disbelief and shaking heads as to why the Bills would hire Rex Ryan.
  16. +1000 I slightly overreacted, very negatively, when Rex was originally announced as coach. But as a couple days have passed, and my hatred of Rex's loud mouth and arrogance, fueled by my hatred of all things Jets, has had a chance to calm down, I'm liking this more and more. That arrogance and cockiness sure sounds a lot more like confidence when it's on your side.
  17. Careful. Not really a safe place to say you don't like the hire. Apparently the 50-52 record he is bringing town is really inspiring to most.
  18. Hooray! There are some who understand thoughts can be discussed and you don't have to want to punch the other guy in the face just because an opinion differs.
  19. Okay. He's a great guy, just a DB. And there's enough press conference footage to make that case.
  20. Because he's a horrible person. Buy, okay, its not about the person, its about finding a quality HC. So, I'm willing to listen. What's inspiring about Rex's 50-52 record as a HC?
  21. I don't think faithfully supporting a team and always hoping/believing something better is right around the corner is wrong.
  22. There's not a single argument on here that is "reasonable" if its a differing opinion.
  23. I was under the impression this was a place to have an opinions and conversations. We can't all agree, but we can all discuss. If you can't handle differing opinions, you go away.
  24. Well, my friends do typically dislike my overly optimistic attitude when it comes to the Bills. I'm the guy who predicts 13 wins at the beginning of the season and am convinced we're going to make up 21 points in the last five minutes of a game after only scoring 3 points in the rest of the game...so yea, I'm convinced any coach could take this team to the playoffs next year.
  25. Because I'm expressing an opinion about disliking the HC hire? Yea, that seems reasonable.
