  1. Obvious holds on ravens nearly every play
  2. D has looked great this quarter.
  3. This is the least optimistic I've felt headed into the season in a long time. I typically make somewhere between a 12-4 and 14-2 prediction. Even through some really bad years, I've found reason for promise and hope. There isn't much promise this year. I'll be rooting for that 14-2 season, but it feels like a 5 win type of year, if that.
  4. Do you not remember how quickly he was progressing and "getting" it? As I remember it, with a couple years of experience under his belt, he was beginning to develop quickly and all indications were pointing to him being a very good QB. He threw for 3200 yards and slightly over a 65% completion percentage in his second year, and was showing even more promise in 2016 camp and preseason prior to the injury. At the time, I didn't think there was any way Minnesota wouldn't stick with him through the entire recovery. He very much looked like their QB of the future.
  5. Beane shipped Tyrod out of town. He deserves a 10 year extension for that move alone.
  6. I thought he had to be sacrificed for the drought to end last year.
  7. Time to go get Richie back (out of jail/counseling/the clinic or wherever). Just play nice and ask him nicely to come back.
  8. I hope some day really soon this board and the national media can let go of the Chargers game and talk about Peterman without mentioning that game. Yea, a rookie had a bad half against a great defense in his first ever nfl start. Can we move on?
  9. The quick release and decisiveness is what endeared so many on this board to Peterman last year. He still has that and a better command of the offense overall. No reason why he shouldn't be our starter or why he can't be successful.
  10. Broken collarbone for AJM
  11. I believe Phillip's has been playing the entire half. Is that correct?
  12. There has to be a UDFA RB out there that has something to offer. The number of late round picks and undrafted guys at the RB position that excel make it inevitable. Now I'm not one of the "dime a dozen" believers per se, and believe there is a benefit and winning strategy to taking young guys like Fournette, Cook and Hunt in the first 3 rounds. That said, there has to be a guy out there just waiting for his chance to be a star.
  13. So everything that's already been noted 1000 times. Cool.
  14. I worked with this guy's aunt for 6 years. Great kid and a great family.
  15. A top QB prospect and a day one starter at LB. Fantastic job in this draft so far!
  16. Maybe browns take nother QB then we trade with them
  17. I'm hoping for 16 games on Sundays at 1pm and a week 9 bye.
  18. I know one of Beane's best friends well and see him almost daily. He doesn't know anything so I'm pretty he won't be sharing details with strangers.
  19. Pretty sure most of the comments about comps pick are a running joke based on some posts from a while back and, mostly, not serious.
  20. I always see posts about how it's too bad TT was not better on the field because he was such a good teammate and good guy off the field. I suppose this could be true, and he certainly seemed to have several really close relationships with teammates, but the only thing that was more ridiculous than watching him try to play football was watching him between offensive possessions. Always sitting on the bench, mostly alone, never looking at tablets or printout of plays, never talking to coaches, always looking mad/sad, never rooting for the defense, etc. It always seemed like he'd rather be pretty much anywhere else.
  21. I don't know how anyone can make this judgment, or say he's going to be the next stud QB, based on the limited time AJ has been on the field. Did you somehow see a ton of Cincy practices and camp reps? I say he looked just good enough when he was thrown into game action and got playoff experience for me to be curious about how he will look with first team reps and consistency. Other than that, I don't think anyone who posts on this board regularly is qualified to judge how good or not good he will be quite yet.
  22. Stating a non-truth as a fact to support an opinion? You're right, nothing at all wrong with that.
