  1. A small amount every single week. How's that apply?
  2. Dogs at home means I like our chances, so I'll be waiting on that playoffs talk!
  3. Part of the point is, let's actually play those 8 games before we dive into a spiral of negativity because we are 5-3.
  4. I think the Thursday game was difficult because we do not have superstar talent on this roster that can just take over and win games with ability. This team needs to rely on scheme and preparation to be successful, which is why I think Incognito was so frustrated. YES, the Jets also had a short week, and most teams that play on Thursday night have short weeks, so it is "fair" in that sense. But, I think the limited preparation time definitely affects teams differently. Aaron Rogers, Brady, AJ Green, Zeke...guys like that are gonna go out and play and can win whether they have 2 days off or 10. This team does not have talent to that level, and they need the preparation time to make sure they play smart and know exactly what they are doing.
  5. There are more things different about this team (e.g. owners, coaches, players, scheme, mindset, culture, etc.), than there are things that a similar to those teams, so I'm gonna go ahead and say it is time to quit comparing them to teams from the last 17 years.
  6. Agreed! He may have a larger, positive effect on the outcome of games than anyone we've traded for before, especially mid-season. I'm extremely excited for next Sunday to see him play in a Bills uni.
  7. Time to quit living in the past. Yea, the last 17 years have sucked, and left many with a bad taste in their mouth, but let it go. This team has a lot happening for them that teams of the last 17 year haven't. Try to take the time to be a little optimistic about our decent start. You may enjoy it.
  8. The Saints will be a tough game, no doubt. But at least we get them in Buffalo, with hopefully some less than ideal weather conditions. If the Chargers scare you at all, I don't know what to say. Fun side note, they've scored 24 less points than us on the season. Chiefs can be beat, Dallas just proved that. Yes, Dallas has looked good in recent weeks, but they are far from being a dominant team. Chiefs also dropped a game to Oakland, who we dismantled. Not saying this game is easy, but we can win it. It is not like it is impossible. Patriots in Buffalo after that. Yea, a division game against the Pats is always going to be a challenge, even at home. Let's play the games before we write our season off as over though.
  9. Currently, in the AFC, the Bills, Dolphins, Titans, Jaguars, and Chiefs all have three loses. Are all of their seasons over too, or is it just us? Aside from the Patriots and Steelers (and the teams mentioned above), everyone else has more than 3 loses. They must really be doomed! I cannot even imagine how negative the fans on those boards must be. What about the NFC? Is three losses after week 9 a nail in the coffin in that league too, or is it just an AFC thing? Or, is it just a Bills thing? I just want to make sure I fully understand the state of hysteria and misery I should be in.
  10. If the Seahawks lose to Washington and fall to 5-3, does that mean their season is over too, just like ours?
  11. I get that...just didn't explain both scenarios all the way through. My fault. But, since we're getting to the technicalities, it's "moot".
  12. What I'm saying, mainly, is that we needed this loss to be better. It is exactly what we needed to focus, for the coaches to prepare and scheme better, and for the players to have a bitter taste in their mouth where they will do everything they can to avoid tasting it again this year. This is a game we should have won, and it turned into an overwhelming, negative loss that makes it appear as though the wheels are falling over. But, instead of a negative, I actually see it as a positive and something that will lead to overall growth and dominance. The only other time this could have happened this year is against the Colts, because that is the only other game left that we absolutely should win. So, say we had beat the Jets and were sitting at 6-2, I believe we would have lost to the Chiefs and The Pats, prior to the Colts game. And, at that point, maybe we beat the colts and never get this reality check that is, "hey, pull your sh** together." You would be back at a point of never getting the message, because losses to the Pats and Chiefs are almost expected. Well, we don't have to wait any more, because we got that message loud and clear with the game last night, and I think it is something we needed, and something that will make us a better team overall.
  13. I was saying that's what I would have expected had we beat the Jets.
  14. This is no trolling attempt. This is for real. You need losses to show you who you are and in order to grow and become better. If we beat the Jets, that doesn't happen to the extent that it does with a loss, and I think we still drop the KC game and one of the *NE games. But, with the loss, we learn and grow. 13-3 and #1 seed in the playoffs thanks to the experience we gain because of the loss. It's gonna be a fun ride!
  15. I predicted an 11-5 record for this team since before the start of the season, but I'm not sure I can stand by that prediction any longer with the way this team has been playing so far this season. And, I'm looking at the season as a whole here, not just the game last night The Jets game had me worried. First, the Jets are not actually that bad. They have played hard all year and have mostly been in games. Second, we seem to lose a "should win" game each year, at least once. So with the Jets loss in the book, I now must change my prediction, because I now do not see another loss on the schedule. New prediction, 13-3. The KC and other division games will be challenges for sure, but we'll come out on top. The loss last night was one of those losses where you figure out a lot about the team, and the guys almost needed it as part of the building and maturation process. I'm glad we had a game like this, because it is just going to make us stronger overall and it is going to lead to more wins overall. I think the experience gained during this loss was worth a lot to where we are headed overall. 13-3, here we come!
  16. My bad. Anyone want to get MORE drunk?
  17. Hope TT gets to 300 yards. That means we win, right?
  18. At least we have a 6 game winning streak to look forward to next
  19. A 21-24 loss would be one thing. This is awful.
  20. Someone needs to f*** Hughes' mom as punishment and teach him a lesson.
  21. We were always destined for 11-5. Two more loses to go after this one.
  22. This was the game left on the schedule I was most worried about. Truly believe we'll go 4-0 against *Pats and Fish.
  23. Who do we face if we win?
