  1. stop picturing.... 1, 2, 3, 4, FIIIIIIIIF! http://www.pp2g.tv/vYH1-Y3U_.aspx
  2. I'm fairly certain the bills will score: 1.) a rushing TD (Lynch!) 2.) a receiving TD (Roscoe) 3.) another receiving TD (Nelson) 4.) a punt return TD (Spiller) 5.) a field goal (Lindell) 6.) a pick 6 (McKelvin) 7.) another field goal 8.) and yet another receiving TD (Jackson) Unfortunately, the Ph**s will score a TD (Fasano), field goal, and a garbage time TD to Marshall. 48-17 OH YEAH!
  3. i can't believe no one voted for too much booty in the pants. i voted for face down ass up only bc it's slightly better IMO. i wish i could vote for a two tho. if you really want to get a party started tho try this:
  4. also, i think dilfer would've been terrible behind some of those lines and in some of those schemes. i think bledsoe, losman, edwards, and even rob johnson would've flourished in dilfer's shoes.
  5. you're not 100% right about this, but i agree for the most part. while running plays quickly (in a hurry-up offense) will keep the defense on their toes and tire them out, it also tires out the offense. furthermore, it's not as important as how soon you snap the ball, it's how fast you get to the line and are prepared to snap the ball. then the defense can not sub players and has less time to adjust to the formation if they are anticipating the possibility of a quick snap. there isn't a problem with not snapping the ball quickly unless you never do it, which the bills hardly ever did. i agree the bills experiment with the no-huddle was a disaster, but let's not get no-huddle confused with a hurry-up offense.
  6. 342 right?
  7. even when i can afford better tix, i dont know if i would want to leave the rockpile. ive sat in the club seats a few times but it's a little too docile there. maybe when i'm older i won't care anymore, but for now i want to get sh*tfaced and scream the entire game (and hardly remember it ).
  8. yeah i grew up hating the fins and never thought i could hate a team more. a great childhood memory of mine was watching a steamroller literally "squish the fish." the fish were plastic but it was still awesome. but since the advent of espn's ubiquitous coverage of all things patriots coupled with the fact the bills can't beat them, i now hate the patriots more than any other franchise and can't imagine that ever changing. my girlfriend thought i seriously injured myself the first time the pats had their own ticker on the bottom of the screen on sportscenter. and remember when we played the pats and it was bruschi's first game back? the highlights on sportscenter did not even MENTION the word "Bills." disgusting and unbelievable! i felt personally disrespected. so yeah, i hate the fins but now the pats take the cake as my most hated franchise, with espn playing a big role in that hatred.
  9. bingo! also, by making the defense account for a threat out of the backfield, there is less attention paid to wideouts and TEs, which should create more opportunities for them as well.

  11. i thought george edwards is here to teach the 3-4... jk i agree with you and i'm glad it appears nix and co. know what they're doing
  12. MIA @ BUF W BUF @ GB W BUF @ NE W NYJ @ BUF L JAC @ BUF W BUF @ BAL L BUF @ KC W CHI @ BUF W DET @ BUF W BUF @ CIN L PIT @ BUF W BUF @ MIN L CLE @ BUF L BUF @ MIA W NE @ BUF L BUF @ NYJ W predicting the unpredictable is fun! see you in the playoffs!
  13. at least least you realize it's all in good fun. some people get so sensitive!
  14. it's probably whole wheat, since he's so svelte now
  15. and somehow this idea is difficult for many to fathom
  16. great idea. i also want to mention that the argument that the super bowl shouldn't be influenced by weather is bogus. every other game has the potential for less than ideal conditions, including the conference championships. and what about late-season games with playoff implications that are played in a blizzard? as evidenced in this thread and elsewhere on the board, some of the most memorable super bowls (and games in general) have been played in notable weather. you wanna play the pro bowl in hawaii or cali or fla every year? fine.
  17. fans love the underdog - stevie was a 7th round pick. hardy is considered a "thug" by some ( after incidents like this with his dad) and has yet to live up to the high expectations that come with a 2nd rd pick. lots of 7th rd picks don't make the team that drafts them. johnson has had quality preseasons and the little impact he has had on the field during the regular season exceeds whatever expectations fans had when he was drafted.
  18. it takes me way longer to get past stop n go traffic leaving the ralph than it does a sabres game. also leaving the sabres game i have the option of taking the train. that might not be as practical for a bills game since i'd either have to totally revamp what i bring for tailgating, or i guess tailgate off site (like in a park n ride lot) and leave a car there. i think if there a stadium is built downtown, there'd be ample parking/tailgate space developed since those responsible would realize tailgating is a hallmark of the game-day experience. but then again, maybe not since there's been so many boners over the years (UB, the 33, the train, the waterfront, etc.).
  19. i know that some might disagree with this (and if you do, post it in another thread ), but many of the "negatives" that have been noted on this board, i see as positives in a way. the bills shortcomings and question marks will be exposed this year in a worst case scenario. since the bills have so many young players and a new regime, this year will be a pivotal one in figuring out who is going to be here for the long haul. don't get me wrong, i'm not writing the upcoming season off before a single down is played, and i fully expect the bills to outperform what many of the national pundits are predicting, but i'm also happy to know that after this year it should be clear beyond any doubts what the bills need to do to make the jump to full-fledged championship contender status. i'm always optimistic, but i think i'd be less so if OBD made more of a push to "win now" at all costs - including mortgaging the future. i think we all would trade one more so-so to shoddy year for a long string of competitive ones, instead of one blaze of glory followed by another decade of futility.
