  1. Most experts had Dareus as a consensus top 5 pick. The only two I recall that weren't that high on him were Wes Bunting, who is now a pro scout for someone, and Dave Razzano. Razzano also felt that Aldon Smith and Von Miller were extremely overrated, especially Miller, so there's that. Dareus was solid last year, just read the below article from PFF, who now ranks him near or at the bottom. It's been a rough year for him, hopefully he turns it around. https://www.profootb...marcell-dareus/
  2. Here's a fantasy football related article they put out a few months ago. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2012/07/10/fantasy-idp-sophomore-spotlight-marcell-dareus/ And he had no other pass rushers around him. His run grade wasn't the greatest last year, but it was a positive even though Kyle Williams was out for the majority of the year.
  3. E Mario makes the most money in his first two years, after that the third the Bills would save around 6m in cap by cutting him.
  4. There won't be more than 2 years of Mario in Buffalo, he'll get cut after the 2013 season because it makes financial sense to do so.
  5. KOKBills nails it. He just doesn't shed, like he said earlier, once he gets stood up it's a wrap. Dareus may hustle down the field but who cares when he can't penetrate or shed a block.
  6. Hanging out with Mike Williams. What a disappointment. I was also a Watt fan, also liked Dareus, but I would've loved to move down in that draft. Swap with Dallas since they wanted a CB and loved Peterson. They moved up this year to take Claiborne.
  7. I thought there were 4 gaps in football.
  8. LOL @ Nolan as head coach. The guy was a complete failure as HC, Frisco had the talent to win that **** division easily, yet he did **** and they dropped his ass. Nolan's a good coordinator, not a head coach. We already have a good coordinator who isn't much of a HC.
  9. Can't win any more games if landing Geno is our ultimate goal.
  10. What we have to do is lose every game from this point out. Probably going first or second overall, can't risk having two teams with need at QB being 1 and 2 on the board.
  11. We lost our LT and RG, our run game went nowhere against the Pats who were ranked 7th or so against the run. Niners have been the best team against the run the last few years, we're toast next Sunday.
  12. I think our roster is ****. Which WR scares you outside of Steve Johnson? Do we have any good young linebackers, clearly not because we played a converted safety and Nick Barnett all game long? Sheppard can't cover anyone. Aaron Williams gets beat deep regularly. Carrington, Troup, and that entire draft class is a bust, Spiller being the lone exception. We didn't draft guys like Gronk, Lee, Bowman, Atkins all of whom would've filled holes at the time. Team has a ton of problems, and roster is one them. Dareus isn't playing like the number 3 pick in the draft. How many you would take Dareus over Watt? How many would rather have AJ Green and Dalton? Fitz isn't a QB you can win with and they gave him a big extension, he's grossly overpaid. Yeah, the roster is part of the problem.
  13. I seriously wonder what people are watching at times. How can anyone, who was conscious during the game, miss the grossly under thrown ball to Graham who was wide open deep down the sideline. From easy touchdown to interception. Bububububu we don't go deep.
  14. Starting, he never stopped hating Spiller.
  15. After the first 3 weeks the Bills ranked near the top in press coverage. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2012/09/22/press-coverage/ Wanny doesn't blitz, get used to it.
  16. Patrick Peterson was awful the first half of his rookie year. Not saying Gilmore will turn it around that quickly, but there's a learning process. DT/CB/QB are the roughest positions to play as a rookie.
  17. Fitz threw deep to Stevie. I mean it wasn't a 50 yard bomb but it was 30 yard fade, that he didn't throw well. There's a reason Fitz doesn't throw deep often, he's not very good at it.
  18. You solved the problem for me, went with Firefox and it worked. Was using Chrome, so I guess it's a webkit issue.
  19. Not sure why, but I can't view the pics.
  20. I jumped a grade, did the 7th and 8th grade in one year. Trust me, it sounds good on paper, but everyone knew I was the youngest in my HS class. Wasn't socially awkward or a nerd, but they do treat you differently. Stayed for an extra half of a semester, felt there was no reason to rush college as well, so I took a few extra classes before graduating. Oh, and the Saints were a laughing stock franchise, exactly where the Bills are today. Competent coach and QB can change everything.
  21. 18 year old college sophmore. still remember talking up the bills d in my english class to a disillusioned classmate. ah, the good old days.
  22. What about the number 3 pick in the '11 draft? Was MIA yesterday.
  23. It's Bill, he's been shitting on Spiller for 3 years, objectivity gets tossed in the trash. I knew what he'd write about Spiller before reading his post, gloss over the positive and point out the negative with regards to Spiller. Too funny and incredibly predictably.
  24. Jets had trouble running the ball last year, so it may not actually be a good barometer. Really upset with Dareus. Watch a guy like Watt, A.Smith, Von Miller, AJ Green, Julio Jones, and you see their impact immediately. Dareus plays well against inferior competition, but seems to disappear against superior players. Mangold ate his lunch today. Didn't impact the pocket at all and didn't bat a pass down, didn't even see him get his hands up. He was engulfed by Moore and Mangold. Really disappointing.
  25. Chan's philosophy led the AFC in rushing, so the problem isn't smash mouth football. It's the **** talent we have on both sides of the ball. Where's our Bowman, Willis, A.Smith, J.Smith, V.Davis, R.Moss, M.Manningham, C.Rogers? Every year we blame the coaches, every 2-3 years they're fired and we bring a new guy in, same !@#$ing results. When are the fans going to point the finger at the players? I'm not excusing the coaching, but the talent really isn't there either. We have one good receiver, that's it. Couple of good OL and a couple of backs.
