A trade for Diggs is just not going to happen !!! The only way it could for the Bills is if they could find a team to take on his contract along with the trade . The Bills are in no way going to trade him & take the cap hit of his contract so we all can forget that . Never say never but i just don't see it !! Get some young WR talent in the draft that will be more cost effective until Diggs retires or they can wave him with the least amount of cap use to go into the future . Diggs still has some left in the tank & if a D coordinator were to not to plan for him when getting ready to play the Bills along with a couple of good young WR's and who they already have i fell Diggs would make them pay . Sorry but the lines of consent as far as age has been set for 100's of years, all of the things i put down in my earlier post such as . If you ask the parent if they would allow their child to drive a car on a heavily traveled road, or drink alcohol at say 2 yrs old, or would they allow their child to purchase a gun at the same age, or if they would allow their under age son or daughter to have consensual sex with a adult although perverts would hopefully sane parents wouldn't but i'm not positive of that because there are some out there that wouldn't care because they are just that stupid . Could it be that he wasn't in full game shape as of yet due to coming back from hs injury & McD wanted to see how at game speed he would handle it, could he have been on a pitch count as they say, or was he used in certain packages & seeing that Douglas has been playing in the system ever since he got here & has been playing at a high level ? Your choice . I don't think any coach worth their salt would start a player coming off IR that has been on it for most of the season to replace a player like Douglas but then that might just be me .

The NFL likes to be in total control of their product & have the final say as to how things will work exactly so they can make as much cash from those rights as they can . It's not just 1 thing it's quite a few things, Stability at the coaching positions, Experience there too, Mahomes, Kelsey, & their years together, great D coordinator, HC & offensive mind, & some really good to great players on either side of the ball . There is no I in team it takes maybe not every player on the field but it takes most all of them .

I think your jumping the gun Elam was injured for most of last season I would much rather have Beane get another WR in the draft in the long run it will be cheaper . Plus it's not like CB is a strength of the Bills . Plus knowing our luck he would go to the Titans & the switch would come on & he would be a all pro . Given how the Bills have developed good players like Millano, Benford, and quite a few others i think they should give him a good chance while being healthy then determine how to move forward with him .

He's not going to get paid by this or any other team given the last 3 seasons that would be foolish for any team to pay him as the player he was before the injuries . If i was Beane i would give him a prove it deal (Maybe) but not at corner maybe safety & then i'd have to think about it . True but if there is a rule that says no smoking & the fact that you were a child under the legal age of recognition & not only shouldn't be smoking but had to either steal the money to get cigarettes or steal the cigarettes from someone old enough to buy them (or bribe them to get you some with the money you had stolen or earned) or actually adult enough to make that decision, so not only did you break the rule of not smoking period or not smoking on school property but you also committed some other infractions in order to smoke . Failure should motivate you to work harder & to become better the next time you attempt what ever you fail at that is the only way you get better is to learn from it , it's not how many times you fall down but how many times you get back up & yes when you fall there should be positive reinforcement from your parents . But if you get pissed because the dog chewed your favorite toy & the kid grabs a knife from the drawer to stab the dog because they are pissed there isn't any positive spin in that at all, so the discipline deserves to be more so than a lessor wrong doing & we as adults should be able to differentiate between the 2 . I don't know when Bills Mafia will quit complaining !! It is very hard to get to a SB let alone win one when the Micheal Jordan & the Phil Jackson of the NFL is the QB & HC of the Chiefs .
