  1. I would have rather had our picks and Mason Rudolph then Josh Allen any day.
  2. He also missed a lot of appointments for the pre-draft visits. Really stupid but he just went to Washington.
  3. By not selling the farm to get a project quarterback won't do anything for the next couple years. If you're going to go up and get your franchise quarterback get someone who can make an impact right away not have to learn how to play the position as many analysts have said.
  4. They should be. With a guard that Oakland didn't want to resign and a center that Cincinnati didn't want to resign as our possible starters, what could go wrong?
  5. Sure would be nice to build for the long haul with two picks in the second round and 2 in the 3rd instead of 1 tonight.
  6. Took some stones getting right in their face didn't it? I loved it.
  7. No Allen's play is dividing the fanbase. It's not like we just sat around and just read a couple paragraphs on this guy, a lot of us watched him as well as studied all the quarterbacks. It's clear that this kid is a project. He feels like another in a long line of Bills' quarterbacks that had big arms, high upside, and didn't work out. Rob Johnson, JP losman, EJ Manuel, so don't expect us to jump and cheer at another project, sorry.
  8. I don't think so. I think next year Is going to be a tough year for this team. And I think our draft positions going to be much lower than this year. So you don't want to give up those picks. But man look at the talent coming off the board right now we sure could use it.
  9. Going to be a long night watching all this talent come off the board and thinking of all the holes we have.
  10. Jeez, didn't know you run the board now. Maybe you worry about your own posts.
  11. At the end of the day I'm with you. I'm just really, really disappointed about last night. I'm tired of our history of strong-armed quarterbacks with high ceilings who can't process. Rob Johnson, JP losman, EJ Manuel, I just wish for once we get a guy who can actually read a defense, make a protection call, and throw from the pocket accurately. Instead we got another project with a high ceiling. I mean I hope the guy is good, I'll eat crow with relish if it does happen. I just wish for once we had a guy that could play from the get-go.
  12. Where is the Wyoming - Oregon game when you need it? 9 of 24 for 64 yards in a pick. That's what he did against a good defense and not the lame conference teams he was playing.
  13. Unfortunately, there's no choice but to live with this pick. My new hobby is going to be looking at quarterbacks in the 2020 draft. That should be about the time AJ's up and we need one.
  14. It will pass. i hope the kid is good and I can eat crow - with relish if so. I watched a few of his games, and it just wasn't pretty. Great scrambler but shaky on any exotic defensive looks. After EJ, Losman and Rob Johnson, I'm tired of strong armed, high ceiling projects. I just wanted a QB who can make read a defense, climb the pocket and make the throws, accurately. I just don't see this kid doing that. Is what it is. I really am disappointed today.
  15. Yeah those two in the 5th, and 6th and 7th rounders should really solidify this team. Hope so too. Last night was the most disappointed I've been in a draft since I've followed the team in 1963. And I have seen many disappointing Bills' drafts.
  16. TP laid the smack down and wanted a long term project because he may be inaccurate, but at least he was inaccurate playing in snow.
  17. That viewership is going to drop precipitously tonight. Nothing to watch until late at night for us.
  18. Same here. In fact with all the build-up, all the moves, and all the excitement last night was soul crushing.
  19. And seldom do their slow eyes pick up game speed processing abilities. Losman and EJ had high ceilings as well. Here's an idea, let's pick a quarterback who actually has a record of accuracy, reading defenses and making the right decisions instead of physical specimens who are long range projects.
  20. Yep, and we just did it again. What could go wrong?
  21. Sweet Jesus I can only hope.
  22. I've had a lot of faith over the years my friend. What really bothers me, even though I'm older, I do put a lot of faith in metrics. For example when blitzed, Baker Mayfield's quarterback ranking actually went up. Rosen's dropped about 10%. Josh Allen? When blitzed his quarterback ranking drops by 50%. I think NFL DCs will eat him alive. I don't know if you can teach processing at this level. Remember the "slow eyes"of EJ Manuel? He never could overcome it and we got to hope that Allen does.
