Maybe Modrak stayed because they let him make the calls on the later picks, of which he apparently excels. The author knows squat about how that FO worked and is just frustrated like we all have been the past decade. He, like many at TSW, won't be happy unless they have Modrak's head on a pike. Frankly I don't give a sh*t as long as we have accountability and we do now with Buddy. If Nix thinks the guys worth keeping, I'm fine with it. Just pick good guys in the draft. All this carping just fills news column inches and keeps the guy getting a paycheck. From what I can tell the authoer has had zero impact on the Buffalo sports scene so why does he want to stay in a job where he has no impact? +1

Buddy has a good point. The idea that college football is about building student-atheletes is almost comical now. The senior bowl is a NFL meat markert preview so why not just call it what it is. Besides, for the declared junior, this is their senior bowl. And just because "genius" Hoody or Polian didn't say it first, it doesn't make us look "clueless" as WEO says. Get over your Buffalo inferiority complex and be happy we have a GM that's out and involved and not a follower.

Not at all. I went to plenty of practices at SJF and Trent looked great. Made the throws and had great accuracy. Then put him in a game and he's puking up and glassy eyed. Kudos to Chan for cutting his losses. He thought by coaching up TE he would come around. Didn't happen and he pulled the plug. I'm fine with it.

He's gotta be doing that to throw people off. Vonn Miller would be a disaster pick. Maybin + MIller = one LB. Buddy says get big!!!!!

Brohm's done. I think Brown deserves a better look. Has size, arm and needs some game reps to see if he's got the smarts and instincts. So to answer the OP, we really don't know.

The only big name FA I'd love the Bills to chase is David Harris. He'd be a monster addition. Mid range pick ups after that are fine as we are building via draft.

I don't know about you guys but I loved the way Buddy just lays it out there. Wood to Center. Stick with Bell. Get bigger at LB and pick an impact guy BPA at #3. He just puts it out there and I find it damn comforting and refreshing. Loved when Mark asked where Wood playing center puts Hanny. "We play the best guys.." Gotta love the guy. I am a bit concerned about RT. I agree that his PS and FA pick ups of Wrotto, Pears, Reinhart and Urbik were excellent and at the very least will give us good depth. I don't know if they will be the answer at guard with Wood moving and RT.....I'd fee better with a FA or solid pick in the draft.

I don't see that happening at all. We burned high picks on Troup and Carrington. Troup will play NT, KW at DE and Darius as a 5 technique with Carrington in for plenty of snaps and in a four man front. The FA focus will and should be on LB's. Soliai is a luxury. Get me David Harris instead.

Lovie's complete mishandling of the 4th down play was Pop Warner class. Raw QB with a 4th down and clock running and he sits on a TO instead of using it to calm the kid and team down. As for Cutler, if your going to stand and watch with a sprained MCL, hobble over and help your QB and cheer the team on. Cutler's a punk.
