  1. You are absolutely correct! Unbelievable giveaway. Let's give them our 34 for all the rest of their picks this year and next......
  2. Pick D at 34 and trade back into the second for any of the three. I like Kaepernick and Mallet.
  3. I think it's mandetory if you are going to post on this board, you have to grasp and use such terms. I mean really, don't all of us welcome 2-gap responsiblity? How we post "in space" or with our "hand on the ground" says something about who we are as fans. Jeezy Creezy son, don't be a WILL, be a SAM and embrace 0-3-5 technique lingo. Either that or say 220- 330, whatever it takes......
  4. Precisely. There is no number two. We need D help in every area. I like the upside of Carrington, Moats and Troup. Beyond that our LB's are pitiful and DB's average. This draft is deep in DL and LB's. Let's get as many as we can!
  5. I'm good with this. It would mean that either Kaepernick and Ponder are gone or Buddy/Chan weren't sold on either. Have to trust their choices.
  6. Talk to me after the Jets put another 200+ yards on the ground against us....twice. Getting a shot at a guy like Dareus don't come along every year, or maybe it does and we pick a DB or RB....... Let's quit thinking about flash and get guys in here who are the foundation of a winning team....the line.
  7. I predict pulling names out of a hat at random has a better chance of happening than the above scenario.
  8. Umm, whatever. The short bus should be out front soon.
  9. Says who? We can't pressure a QB for squat. Miller could be a force! He can be a game changer. Last I checked even Brady looks ordinary when you get in his grill. _
  10. That's not the point. I have to back up crayonz here. The idiots were going to the combine, knew they would be tested and knew how huge the combine is in the draft process. They don't have the discipline to lay off weed for a few frickin' weeks with so much of their futures at stake? That shows me they are losers with little self discipline.
  11. Ever hear of Never Give Up????? (BTW, it's lying, not lieing......your name is well chosen)
  12. When NGU speaks, it pays to listen. When we get to pick, Miller and Green wil be the BPA and difference makers. I'm hoping it's Miller. My fear of his "Maybin" like size have been somewhat allayed by watching tape and his broader work history. He's about Clay Matthews' size and if he has half the impact of Matthews, we got a great player in a position of true need. We can pick up some DL stuffers in the next few rounds. It's a deep draft. Thanks NGU!!!
  13. For me, the Rogue Scout piece at the very least made me take another look at Locker and sort of solidified my sneaking suspicion that Gabbert is another Trent Edwards type of check down passer. Could be wrong, maybe he's a perfect West Coast offense guy but 16 TD passes in a passing offense gives me pause. Just maybe the rumors of Buddy trying to get back into the first round is to take a shot at Locker after picking D at 3.
  14. Ditto. Not us, not now.
  15. I was looking for NGU yesterday. It's go time!
  16. +1 This is the real world baby.
  17. Not too many posts from you but this is a goody! +1
  18. He makes Gabbert sound like the next Trent Edwards, that's enough to scare me. I hope Buddy has some rogue in him. Maybe this trade back into the first round talk has some fiber to it. Could be Buddy wants Locker or Colin Kaepernick. Now, I'll have to watch Jurrell Casey as well.
  19. Then you would have been saying the same thing about BJ Ragi in his first year at Green Bay. He did squat. His second year he picked it up and towards year's end was a force on a SuperBowl team. Thank God you're not pulling the trigger on assessing talent. Troup is going to be a lot better this year and so will Carrington. Not many rooks light it up in year one. Even Bruce Smith wasn't that impressive year one. After he shed some pounds and got better conditioning he was all-world. Suppose you would have used the "bust" label on him year one? More genius. Guess they should have cut Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, BJ Ragi, and almost all Pittsburgh linebackers. Christ, get real.
  20. May as well end the thread with this post. It won't get any better!
  21. I too had the complete opposite reaction. He really got my attention while at the chalkboard. He's football smart and clearly loves the game.
