Fred is one of my top ten favorite Bills and I've been a fan since 1963.

Feared for Fred at his cap hit and short future doesn't add up. Powell will be a cheaper younger alternative. Makes sense but I just hate losing Fred on the cusp of the playoffs. He deserves to see it.

You know how this board gets, we are going to lose Searcy and Hughes, so let's dismiss them as not big loses or diminish their talent. They are both excellent players and all things considered, I would love to have them back. That said, we can't afford the $15+ million it would take. Rex will figure it out as he is a great defensive coach. But I find it amusing when posts dismiss their loss with a wave. The Hughes is a coverage sack guy comment particularly, that's just stupid.

Hate to see him go. He's a playmaker. But we have enough cap gymnastics in our future and can't have it all. Duke has to step up.

Belicheat will draft a NT and also take a shot at Kenrick Ellis.

Why is Bryce Brown a fail? They kept him out of games as we didn't need him and it kept his compensation pick lower. We'll see what he's got this year.
