  1. This just excellent! A new TT thread. It was tough to live through the 17 minute drought since the last one!
  2. ? Ha. I bow to your sheer will to post! ?
  3. I have to agree. If you're a fan of the pass-first multiple skill receiver NFL offenses then this hire doesn't bring the promise of bringing it here. That said, a power running team with a good quarterback, accurate quarterback and solid scheming has always been a good remedy for success in this league.
  4. So then pointing out the mute point is moot with you? True that TSW doesn't care about grammar or we'd all get the bute!
  5. NP. If someone had written that about TT I would have written what you did in a heartbeat! ? He'd do it on the run!
  6. This whole thread just reminds me of what a lost opportunity for us last week. How can the Jags put up 45 points on a Steelers and can't get more than 10 against us. Damnit that game was so winnable.
  7. Well that's my first blush as well , but we have ro wait and see what his scheme is. If I was the Bama OC 'd run the ball all day and let my man-eating D handle the rest.
  8. Not happy about this. The guy is a stellar run-stopper and can develop his pass rush. He's had health problems but why give them away when he's ascending? I don't get this. Don't give the guy away!
  9. I was referring to Alex Smith.
  10. Hey I'm with you coach. I want Smith but only under the proviso that they draft a young quarterback this year! Smith is here to groom him for the future and to give a solid quarterbacking in the interim. Wouldn't it be great to actually have the ball leave the quarterback's hand before the break? I live to see the day!
  11. No, because he's not end game. He would be there to school our new quarterback and in the interim give us solid quarterbacking with accuracy and anticipation with throws. Something we sorely lack. I think it'd be a great scenario.
  12. Groy's a Mauler and didn't have any business sitting on the bench. He's going to be a starter and Wood have slipped. What's wrong with having a quality back up like that on your team though. I know they extended him but in a flat out competition I'm anxious to see which one of them comes out on top.
  13. That sums it up nicely. I don't know, I agree on Miller but Groy maybe our starting center next year.
  14. Benjamin played with a torn miniscus, he wasn't healthy.
  15. Please no Shula, no McCoy! Just sign Chud and things will get better.
  16. Can't argue that! That said, I still wouldn't trade Glenn for Dalton.
  17. Happy on the one hand but on the other hand, here we go again another year another scheme change.
  18. I would miss him as an announcer. He's really developing in the one of the best. Let him stay behind the microphone. And maybe, just maybe we can deal in reality with our quarterback situation. These sudden left turns can be distracting, then again it is the offseason.
  19. If he's a number 2, he'd be a hell of a number two. I'm with Yolo, let's see what he can do healthy with a real quarterback.
  20. Right you are. He ran for the 1st down. He did have 14 yds passing.
  21. Preston had a good year. We only have so many draft picks but if a great MLB prospect is within sight grab him. If not let's resign Preston.
  22. This. When you hold a division champion team to 10 points you really ought to win the game. A few quarterback scrambles, not a big deal in the big picture.
  23. Come on MV, Doug was an offensive line Guru! And as for Cyril, who else would you rather have block for you when your punting?
