  1. The Bears would be stupid not to pick him up...
  2. Welcome to the board! I went to Lambeau this year for the Bills game, and I have to admit, your fans are great. Even with some of the jousting back and forth with fans tailgating and during the first half was all in good fun and with smiles. When I was leaving the stadium w/ my friends after the game, there was one GB fan who sprinted towards us (we were wearing Bills jerseys, of course), and once he got to us he shook our hands and thanked us for making the trip to GB and to come back anytime. To me, that was pretty cool, and encapsulated the weekend I was there. That weekend made me respect the fans and franchise even more.
  3. I hate to say it, but I'd rather keep Lynch -- strictly b/c of age. And that whole thing about Jackson being a "young" 30, doesn't take away from the fact that Lynch is in his mid-20s and has bigger upside.
  4. This is what's going to happen: Spiller will have the majority of touches by week 5. This whole idea that he's going to be like Reggie Bush, etc. is a load of crap. CJ has better moves and better instinct than Bush. Mark my words, Spiller will be treated like Chris Johnson.
  5. Maybin is looking much, much better. The kid has instinct to get to the QB -- if only he can harness that instinct for pass coverage, we may have something special in a couple years.
  6. If Bell does not make the team, I whole-heartedly believe this will be something that we talk about for years to come. Is he going to get 1000 yds. this year? No way. But, he's a gamer with a ton to prove. By the 4th pre-season game he will be take some snaps aganist the opoosing 1st team defense. Regardless, didn't he sign a 3-year deal already? I know the Bills can cut him whenever, but a 3-year deal seems like an investment... right?
  7. Some observations: 1) Trent had to check down b/c the Bills weren't picking up blitz packages and couldn't stop the pass rush. The line, even on some run plays, looked brutal. Brohm had more time to throw, obviously, but still did nothing more than high-efficiency passes. 2) Roscoe looked really good, but he won't have more that 40 receptions, if the line can't block. 3) Loved the 3 rb, 2 Te and 2 WR formation. Plenty of good plays could come out of that for the Bills thsi year, and Gailey knows that. 4) Thought Stroud and Williams looked great. Thought there was decent pressure at times on Manning. Poz and Mitchell looked to loose and couldn't adjust to passing situations, and once that became evident to Manning they ran the ball down their throats. Buffalo will have a hard time w/ the 3 WR, 1 RB set this year b/c the natural instinct to sniff out plays w/ our LBs is not there. 5) Whitner looked solid, as did McKelvin at times. 6) Joquie Bell may be one of my favorite players right now. I'm routing for him. I think he's hungry and has a ton of passion. 7) Steve Johnson will give Roscoe a run for his money -- no doubt. His route running is improving every time he gets on the field. Chad Jackson isn't looking too shabby either. 8) Gailey is a very good coach.
  8. If he can stay healthier than Reggie Bush, I would take RB's rookie numbers all day long: 565 rushing yds., 88 recpections for 742 yds...9 total Tds (1 punt return).
  9. I'm coming with 5 people to Green Bay...
  10. I don't think anyone on this board has ever broached a subject like this before.
  11. Play ethnicky jazz to parade your snazz On your five grand stereo .... these lyrics never lose their luster
  12. Obviously there were some suitors for Lynch this past draft, however the Bills didn't get the 2nd round pick they were supposedly looking for. I gave it some thought and was wondering how deep the the 2011 draft is for RBs ? He's signed for two more years, maybe the FO thinks they'll get better value for him next year. If so, it might prove to be a smart move, especially if Bell shows signs of progress.
  13. Seriously? You want THAT guy on our team? His character is just as bad if not worse than Lynch's. And, Bell had two 2,000 yd. seasons -- hard to do in any division. Blount barely had 1000 yds. two seasons ago. The Bills made the right choice.
  14. Here's your wow... WOW your post sucks.
  15. This is all too early to tell. However, Buffalo did an amazing job of picking players who seem to be team players.
  16. 1st -- CJ Spiller 2nd -- Terrance Cody 3rd -- Tim Tebow
  17. not saying you're wrong on that, but do you have any proof? or is it that his numbers for the past two years have been terrible b/c he has zero wide receivers and a shaky o-line?
