  1. I've got no problems with how free agency has gone so far for the Bills. I think it's been one of the more solid free agency periods this team has had in years.
  2. No to Tebow. I'd take Lefevour, Pike or Robinson before Tebow.
  3. I think Nelson has the ability to be better than a decent TE. Thought he was a steal last year.
  4. I agree. I think Williams or Davis is a HUGE reach at #9. I also believe that this trade down scenario has a high probability of happening on draft day.
  5. I've been saying this.....the Texans and Niners both want Spiller. With the Texans on the verge, and the 49ers in a weak division, Spiller is that one piece that could put them over the top. I think both teams will try to trade up.
  6. My bet is that he'll be released before the season starts. If St. Louis, Buffalo and Cin all pass, there is something amiss.
  7. I think the Bills will trade down. The Texans or Niners want Spiller, and will trade up to get him before the other does.
  8. I think Buffalo would be on fire if this draft were to happen. Other teams want Spiller. If Buffalo wants to trade down, I think they will have opportunities to do so.
  9. McNabb isn't good enough for what the Eagles are asking for in return. The Eagles are in rebuild mode, especially on defense. I can see them waiting too long to do a deal for McNabb or Vick and having it blow up in their face, and they go to camp with three quarterbacks, minus the picks they need to improve their defense.
  10. Must. Avoid. Anthony. Davis. I don't think Mike Williams Strikes Back will be better than the original.
  11. I feel the team will be as good or better than the 2009 team. Upheaval (firing the OC and HC during the season), the ridiculous amount of injuries, and coaching (game calling, schemes) were significant factors last year. I feel we've upgraded the strength/conditioning and coaching over last year. Am I predicting playoffs? No. I just don't believe that 2010 will be worse than 2009. Might be pleasantly surprised.
  12. I don't think the Bills are blowing off 2010. 1) I think what you see in FA is the refinement, however slow, of the draft strategy. 2) There are a lot of players out there that are free agents. Lots of time to sign them.
  13. I have a feeling that the Bills will either go homerun (trade up for Okung) or trade down. As things are shaking out after the Combine and the draft, I don't see the Bills staying pat at #9. I don't think they like their choices there. You either get the very best tackle or you load up on picks and plug a few holes.
  14. That was an epic game. How many times does a football game create such a lasting memory that you remember where you exactly were when it happened?
  15. In the world of possibilities, if the Bills traded up with the Lions, how many picks would they have to give up to do so?
  16. I don't see how Chan Gailey flamed out. That's total BS. In two seasons, had a winning record, two playoff appearances, one division title. Where did the flame-out exactly start?
  17. I live in the Eagles media market (Allentown) and they are on fire... about the team not trading McNabb, Kolb or Vick yet, no FA pickups, giving Jason Avant that crazy contract, and questioning the ownership's interest in winning. Just sayin...it's just not Buffalo. Probably Cowboys fans and half the other teams in the league are saying/doing the same thing. The only teams that played in FA this year were the desperate teams. I may be one of the few on this board that believes the sucktitude and injuries of last year was substantially due to coaching and conditioning.
  18. I wonder if places like PFT putting the signing of backups and roster depth in big bold black letters creates frenzy and unease. Even Jim Sorgi got some big bold headlines. You go, Jimbo. I think overpaying for guys like Chester Taylor and Julius Peppers are terrible signings. Dunta Robinson? Really? Ditto for the teams that will overpay for LT and Westbrook.
  19. Agreed. Some of these teams will regret these signings when they enter Salary Cap Hell in a few seasons. Justin Bannan a difference maker? :-)
  20. There is something about RI that two teams, in need of offensive line help, want no part of. There's definitely something going on that isn't readily seen by fans watching the game.
  21. Smokescreen. If anything, may give a little bit of insight into what the FO is thinking about doing. Trading out of the #9 slot.
  22. How can you have an "outlook" before the conclusion of free agency, the draft, camp and preseason? If the Bills go out and have a killer draft (of their definition of course), those "experts" change their tune quickly. If the Bills go undefeated in preseason for whatever reason, you'll hear the words "darkhorse" and "surprise contender" being batted around. What you see is easy, lazy journalism being passed off.
