  1. Two old players past their primes. I'll pass. Wouldn't be shocked to see Holt get released before the season. I'm convinced that PFT has created a hysteria by way of their webpage layout. It's in big black bold letters, so it must be important.
  2. The only place I see TO heading to is Minnesota.
  3. Oh, I don't want Maybin to fail. I'd love for him to be a dominant LB in the 3-4 and chalk up last year to the holdout and the Tampa-2. I just don't think the Bills have the luxury of taking a guy at #9 that won't produce in 2010. I realize for every Maybin you'll get an Orakpo that will transition just fine. I just read these negatives and I see Maybin 2.0. http://www.draftcountdown.com/ScoutingRepo...erry-Hughes.php
  4. Looks like another Aaron Maybin tweener. Why would Nix take a risk with another one when we aren't sure how Maybin is going to do in the 3-4? Too much risk for a pick at #9.
  5. I'd move up to take Okung if the opportunity presented itself. I'd pass on Bradford, and Suh will be taken. I'd be giddy if we somehow landed an elite LT.
  6. I could see Pittsburgh doing this trade because the Rooney family is getting shelled by its fans to do the deal and that the Rooney family are ardent Catholics and have donated barge loads of money to battered women and domestic abuse charities in the Pittsburgh area. So keeping BR on the roster with these accusations is probably a bitter pill the size of two aircraft carriers, to swallow for them. Rooney got blasted for supporting Obama in the last campaign, given that the patriarch and the family as a whole are very conservative.
  7. I think Mike Iupati will crack the top four. I think some team will take a gamble that they can teach him RT or even LT over taking a chance on the work ethic and commitment of say Anthony Davis.
  8. Why? We already have a young, pass catching TE in Shawn Nelson. The reason he was drafted.
  9. I guess my point is that if you have a less than great passing game, of course you'll try to run the ball more.
  10. The common denominator is that all the teams that were used as examples had average or below average quarterbacks for the years cited.
  11. I wish we could throw to him during a game.
  12. We won't do any worse than we did last year. Six or up. When has the Bills fortunes ever been decided by the other team? It's always about implosion with the Bills. I'm not worried about the Jets with Holmes or the Dolphins with Brandon Marhsall. The Bills secondary is one of the best in the league. Stopping the run, on the other hand...
  13. Why would the Bills use a second round pick on one of the units where there is an identified starter? I know depth is important, especially with our magnetism of injuries, but why not spend that extra pick on the lines or linebackers?
  14. Yeah, Narwocki has been pretty accurate.
  15. I think it's McCoy. He's played more, definitely won more. He's got the leadership and he can run the ball when needed. Very impressed with his pro day.
  16. The talk about "lost" seasons makes me laugh. Obviously comes from people who never played competitive sports in their entire life. There is no such thing as a "lost" season before it even starts.
  17. Is Buffalo any worse than say Green Bay? Or Philadelphia? Or Kansas City? I live in PA (Lehigh Valley) and I can't figure out why anyone would want to come play in Philly. I would say though that Arizona improved it's attractiveness as a FA destination by building a domed stadium. I attended a Cardinals game in that relentless heat, and the heat on the field was even worse.
  18. I am impressed by a couple things. 1. The unified GM/Head Coach relative to building the team. 2. Solid choices for GM and HC. 3. The addressing of the conditioning and injury problem. I think those two guys will pay immediate dividends in keeping the starters on the field and off injured reserve. 4. Sound FA decisions. As a fan, I may be in the minority on this one, but I don't feel as if things are the way they've always been. I sense change.
  19. Who says Rob Johnson isn't a better coach than quarterback? It's possible. I think Colt McCoy would be a solid pick. In the world of possibilities, if I had to pick a quarterback from this draft class, I'd go with him.
  20. I see the Texans trading up with the Bills to get Spiller. I think it's very likely the Bills trade down.
  21. I've always wondered if some players, especially WRs dog it at pro days and the combine to be drafted lower, to hook up with a solid franchise. I realize they lose upfront money by doing this. However, would you rather play on say the Rams or Lions, and be a good player because you're talented, but due to the limitations of your supporting cast, coaching, etc., you don't get the passes and touchdowns you would if say you dropped to the Patriots, etc where you have a quarterback who can get the ball to you, the team is playoff caliber, and where you could put up significant stats leading to a healthy payday.
  22. I thought we fired Dick Jauron. Now we've got to worry about the spirit of Jauron floating in and out of players at press conferences. You'd think Chan and Buddy would have run that over in the General Lee by now.
  23. I don't think Parrish sitting on the bench during Jauron's tenure is an indictment of Parrish's ability...but Jauron's coaching. Same goes for Lee Evans and the Tight End position. Lee Evans is ultra-talented, and I believe Shawn Nelson is as well. I think both will benefit from the new coaching philosophy.
