  1. The entire league should do throwbacks for an entire season. Each team picks one home throwback, one away. They would make so much money, they'd need to dump truck it out of stadiums.
  2. Of course that's his preference. It's been his preference all along. It's just that the front office in Philly prefers for him to be somewhere else. :-) McNabb wants his $6.2 million dollar bonus or to be cut. He's pulling an Amare Stoudamire, killing deals because he won't sign a contract extension.
  3. "If" McNabb agrees to a contract extension, I see the deal getting done. I don't think any team is going to give up a second or third round pick for a year of service. I wouldn't be surprised to see the deal ending up to be a 3rd and Whitner.
  4. Haha! Love the JP Losman citation. If I were the Bills, I'd run away from Clausen as if there were a pack of zombies running after me by just reading that. Dawn of the Dead was an underrated movie.
  5. I don't think we will see the playoffs this year, but I think this team will be competitive. We were 6-10 under the likes of Jauron/Fewell with nearly the entire team being guys picked from the stands at 12:30 before the game. Looking back that was a modern day NFL miracle. I think it will be a promising year. I'm a fan who feels we have a coach and GM with their heads screwed on straight, for the first time since the early 90s.
  6. I concur. Was hoping for a better showing than that. Ouch.
  7. He's another quarterback that has a lot of trouble playing against the 3-4 defense. I'll take my chances with Chan being able to do something with Edwards or Brohm, and a draft pick.
  8. I've got no problems with how free agency has gone so far for the Bills. I think it's been one of the more solid free agency periods this team has had in years.
  9. No to Tebow. I'd take Lefevour, Pike or Robinson before Tebow.
  10. I think Nelson has the ability to be better than a decent TE. Thought he was a steal last year.
  11. I agree. I think Williams or Davis is a HUGE reach at #9. I also believe that this trade down scenario has a high probability of happening on draft day.
  12. I've been saying this.....the Texans and Niners both want Spiller. With the Texans on the verge, and the 49ers in a weak division, Spiller is that one piece that could put them over the top. I think both teams will try to trade up.
  13. My bet is that he'll be released before the season starts. If St. Louis, Buffalo and Cin all pass, there is something amiss.
  14. I think the Bills will trade down. The Texans or Niners want Spiller, and will trade up to get him before the other does.
  15. I think Buffalo would be on fire if this draft were to happen. Other teams want Spiller. If Buffalo wants to trade down, I think they will have opportunities to do so.
  16. McNabb isn't good enough for what the Eagles are asking for in return. The Eagles are in rebuild mode, especially on defense. I can see them waiting too long to do a deal for McNabb or Vick and having it blow up in their face, and they go to camp with three quarterbacks, minus the picks they need to improve their defense.
  17. Must. Avoid. Anthony. Davis. I don't think Mike Williams Strikes Back will be better than the original.
  18. I feel the team will be as good or better than the 2009 team. Upheaval (firing the OC and HC during the season), the ridiculous amount of injuries, and coaching (game calling, schemes) were significant factors last year. I feel we've upgraded the strength/conditioning and coaching over last year. Am I predicting playoffs? No. I just don't believe that 2010 will be worse than 2009. Might be pleasantly surprised.
  19. I don't think the Bills are blowing off 2010. 1) I think what you see in FA is the refinement, however slow, of the draft strategy. 2) There are a lot of players out there that are free agents. Lots of time to sign them.
  20. I have a feeling that the Bills will either go homerun (trade up for Okung) or trade down. As things are shaking out after the Combine and the draft, I don't see the Bills staying pat at #9. I don't think they like their choices there. You either get the very best tackle or you load up on picks and plug a few holes.
  21. That was an epic game. How many times does a football game create such a lasting memory that you remember where you exactly were when it happened?
  22. In the world of possibilities, if the Bills traded up with the Lions, how many picks would they have to give up to do so?
