Vs. the Pats yesterday - had two balls that should have been caught in the end zone/deep, one bounced off of Powells (Im pretty sure it was Powell?) hands, and the other went just over Goodwin (god forbid he had to find the ball over his shoulder, we all know he cannot do that)...two great balls on shots Tyrod also sailed at least three balls over the heads of open WRs on out routes...woods twice and there was no one around him...set your feet young Tyrod!

That is certainly a big part of the decision...Buddy even said so, "Im not leaving until I get the QB of the future in place"...that said, Whaley has always been an EJ supporter, he was highly involved in that decision.... Hopefully with Tyrods improved middle/short passing game, the chains will keep moving and the run game will benefit....the run game will be as effective as last season - which is a tall task

It makes sense that he would not hold out...show up, do the work, and get paid (either by the Bills or by someone else most likely) We need to pay others on this roster (Tyrod probably, Sammy), I would guess with Darby being a number 1 CB...we either franchise or let Gilmore walk next year...just my hunch

Great points and I agree...I was not trying to completely label it a money grab immediately (although I guess thats what I did) - more so saying that this seemed like a non story, and more of a piling on by the media portraying athletes in a negative light

I've been a busy busy guy, was not around the computer much as life picked up..all good and fun things so its worked out : ) But footballs coming back and so am I (I'm going to try) - missed talking football with the best, most intelligent fans in the Bills Mafia I know what you mean about Gillislee...I am worried about him having to be our number 2 back for the first 2-5 weeks of the season. He had a high YPC last year, but that was inflated to like 4 runs of 40 yards or longer....is that a sign of what he will do regularly if given the time? Or is it a sign that he was a bit lucky? His last game, as the "feature back", was pretty terrible if I remember correctly. I am on the fence with us bringing in someone else...I guess it wouldnt hurt, but we still need to get The Williams and Shady their touches, and adding a 6th running back is hard to feed...focus on Gillislee and Wilder and hope they work out for the first quarter of the season?

Agreed on everything except that Wilder will be AT BEST the third option week one...I dont see Gillislee as clearly being the better back/winning that job. We have a lot of camp and a lot of preseason game action, and I believe in Wilder's skill set...Gillislee played real well last year, but I do think Wilder's size and skills will intrigue Roman and what he wants to achieve down to down...we will see

I just pull to the curb on southwestern and throw my four way flashers on for the game, get out and go tailgate and go to the game and when the game is over my cars already cooled off/heated up depending on time of year....it's truly the only way to go (and free)
