if any player missed a game because of an illness he should be laughed out of existence. Missing practice is fine, keep from spreading to a degree, rest up as much as possible so you are good for the game. Missing a game though? thats B ***** -

Bills-Dolphins Week 18 for the Division! SUNDAY NIGHT GAME

Fangio says his CBs sunday will be Ramsey, Apple and Couhu (sp?). And says Ramsey begs him to let him shadow opp's best WR. Says replacing Chubb on Sunday will be by committee. Says James Cook is buffalos best RB since Thurman thomas (woah there guy). Says Josh Allen is a beast and he is the new John Elway but on steroids, and adds that he is not accusing Josh of taking steroids. -
List of players under contract and Free Agents in 2024

Tre also isn't a good tackler, something you want from your safeties -
Very confident, in fact I almost feel like I know its going to happen. Defense is playing damn well the past month and just got Jones back. A lot of the bumps and bruises all over the defense have healed up at the right time. They are playing fast and confident and with an edge/physicality we don't often see. They are a force. The offense is truly very close to breaking out. They were two missed Josh Allen passes away from having that breakout against a really good patriots defense last week (hit Kincaid and Diggs and its a way different offensive output). The chances are there, they have been lacking in execution against really good defenses. Its going to come and likely this week, and then its good night to the rest of the NFL. SUPER BOWL!

Bills-Dolphins Week 18 for the Division! SUNDAY NIGHT GAME
PaattMaann replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
You talking about the team with the longest active winning streak in the NFL? Or are you talking about the team whose defense has been downright stifling for the past month, allowing an average of under 300 total yards offense during that time? Taking the ball away at will? Closer look at the offense shows they are just a couple plays away execution wise from being absolutely explosive again. Or are you talking about a different team? -
Bills-Dolphins Week 18 for the Division! SUNDAY NIGHT GAME

I know im in the super minority but I WANT it to be a win or go home game. This particular team seems to only perform when their backs are against the wall. Give me a 2 seed or hit the golf course situation. -
"all his good play" ??? WTF are you talking about? What good play has he had this season? He played well against the Cowboys...is that the ALL his good play you are referring to? He has been literal butt cheeks all season up until that game. A damn liability in every aspect. Having 10 men on the field would be better than him the majority of snaps. I am just thankful we don't have to see him for suit up again for the Bills.
-
we dont need him ever, he sucks. has been a liability in every game hes played EXCEPT the cowboys game. Anyone else over him is an upgrade.

Daquan Jones’ 21-day practice window has been opened, per McD
PaattMaann replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Has not been announced by the team yet. I think he just meant "if its announced then his window opens up now and he can start practicing and then the Bills have 21 days from now to add him to the roster or he goes on IR for the year" -
what? He isnt blaming other people on his team, hes talking about defenses are doing to him and how thats opened opps for players (mainly our RBs). You are looking for something that is not there...and most likely just to back up your dislike for Diggs because he was wrongly labeled as a diva for years. the "not because of me" is in reference to how much attention defenses are giving him

It’s Dallas week and the Division is on the line!
PaattMaann replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
its concerning when the majority of bets are one team BUT the big money is on other team (whales/betting groups tend to get it right). So in this case, its a good sign that the big money is on the Bills, decent indicator (not a sure thing obviously, they gotta play the game) of a win. To your other point, its not so much a Diggs slump as the way the defenses are covering him, which has opened up things for our RBs in the pass game and how we have chosen to attack the defenses. I would imagine Diggs will be a focal point of the offensive game plan though, especially on quick hitting route/concepts. -
Would this be the week to give Elam a chance.

Benford was also consistently put in "no-win" situations by the Chiefs...flooding his zone with two options so whichever he chose to go to, left the other open. He played a good game considering that. Made tackles, weathered the storm, and as you pointed out, forced a fumble. -

Kincaid has been great at doing what he's asked to do, and those responsibilities are vastly different than those of a boundary WR. Why would we take a strength and mess with it? I think you are assuming that asking Kincaid to go play outside, and assuming he acts as a legit threat as WR2, would somehow create different coverages and opportunities for Shakir as our slot WR? That's a lot of assuming, but I will assure you that even if that were to happen (it wont) and work out as you hope (questionable given why Kincaid has success doing what he is currently doing is nothing like what a boundary WR 2 is asked to do) it would not change the way defenses cover Shakir. Defenses are already shading coverage to a WR, Diggs. If we had another Diggs on the outside it wouldn't change how defenses are covering our WRs...Shakir would still get single covered or still be tasked with finding the soft spot in the zones as he is now. -

You literally said "A lot of players choose to stay on PS despite 53 man roster offers because they like their longer term outlook with the team they are on the PS with etc.." A LOT implies you are not just referring to exceptions my guy haha. Had you said "a handful" I wouldnt have had an issue. You are out here making it seem like PS guys are all just trying to stay there lol

The practice squad IS full of guys who want to be on NFL rosters, they do not want to sit on practice squads. You are giving a rare scenario where a guy would choose not to leave his team in week 17 for one game check...and EVEN THEN I think Johnson jumps ship to play in a game because guess what?? He can come right back to Buffalos practice squad after they release him. Its the NFL, any chance to play in a game these guys take. Not just for the money, but if they get the chance to play in a real NFL game they get the chance to showcase their skills and maybe parlay that into a longer lasting contract. I cannot even believe this is a real conversation. Sure there are exceptions (getting onboarded on the practice squad until you get activated to the active roster)...but legit thinking a player would say "no thanks" to a teams active roster and choose to stay on a practice squad instead is one of more ridiculous things I think I have ever read on this board LOL Joe Marino from Locked on Bills also just touched on this topic in one of the eps of this weeks podcast and he basically said the same thing...players wouldnt say no to the active roster.

Week 9 thread - We’re on to Cincinnati

I said nothing about press coverage...it is possible for DBs to play closer to the line of scrimmage (not give 10 yard cushions ala last year) and not play press coverage
