Our next opponent….The NY Football Giants

Im already on to the patriots...but they really suck too, so I guess im already on to the Bucs I will enjoy these next two easy, no sweat wins though...stack em when you can -
ESPN isnt releasing viewership numbers (other streaming services have also done so in the past) for this seasons London games, but there have been between 2.5-5.5 million viewers for the london games (does NOT include home market numbers). So....some people are watching. Also...the toddlers dont watch lol. Mom takes them outside to play on sundays like a woman should.
-
sounds awful (minus tailgating). but to each their own. I got two toddlers, were up and chored by the time 930 football is on.
-
if there's no Bills home game (like there was last week) then I watch it, as do most of my sports loving friends. What else are people doing at 930 on a sunday morning? To me there is just no reason NOT to have the game on, just like a thursday night game. Its still football. Tough to judge based on ratings because they have toyed around with different streaming services for sunday games, and when it is on network, the numbers do not include home markets. Dont know much but I know the NFL loves money and they are obviously making money by having this as a 930et game.
-
Really don't love that. To me that makes Von returning all the more important. Don't want Kingsley Jonathan having to play for 40% of the snaps.
-
why a half hour late?
-
And for a lot of people football is their Church The NFL realizes they can capitalize on another "prime time" game where its the only game on to watch, thus creating more advertising dollars. No brainer for them.

Rousseau Injured Foot / Uniforms for Sunday (Question)
PaattMaann replied to Never NEVER Give-up's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oliver fell and his knee landed on Greg's foot. Was early enough where he played a lot of snaps after the injury. Best case is a contusion/sprain. Worst case a fracture (would been a real tough it out performance if he fractured it and kept playing, but im sure its happened before) Blue tops is all we officially know. -
Yea I would say your standard is too strict OR theres only 1/2 guys in the league at any moment that are terrifying...which if thats the case, then almost all the D's we face wouldnt have a terrifying player so whats your point? : )
-
missed tackles have been an issue with our defense since McD has arrived (not bashing him, just stating facts)...I highly doubt that will "get cleaned up" for this game.
-
Jevon Holland is a top 2/3 safety in the league. He gets my vote for terrifying. But I agree there are no "game wreckers" on that D. They do have a bunch of pass rushers though.

For frame of reference, Kincaid is on pace to finish the year as the 5th most ever receptions from a rookie TE...on a team where he is TE 1A/TE 2. People need to relax a bit with his usage. He will get high volume games. The offense has been just fine so far. Blue tops, white panties

This is great in theory but a lot of what allowed the Pats to have success against the dolphins O was having Gonazlez at the line jamming hill on a lot of plays, throwing off timing and taking away first reads. We dont have that guy (Elam, MAYBE?) so I would assume we wont be using the script.

Over-reaction Three Weeks In.... Offense seems disjointed

Some of the posts in this thread make me wonder if some people even watch our games. -
Parking This Weekend ???????????????????????????????
PaattMaann replied to JimKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I always parked in lot 5, but now that is the Bus and Limo lot so we moved over to lot 7. I was in line queued up on Southwestern (northeast of the stadium) at 840 and we were in lot 7 and parked by 9:35. I was expecting worse. So I would say your plan for lot 7 is fine but I would try to get there around 840 and just wait in line. -
I think he dresses on Sunday. I have thought all season he would be active or inactive based on matchups. A game like this is when you want his particular skill set available. He is fast and physical and we can use that to disrupt some of Miami's timing passing game. Elam made a huge play in the playoff game last year against Miami, 24-20 Miami and they are driving and Elam makes a huge interception and then we go on to score two straight touchdowns. Game changing play. I could certainly be wrong, I am not McD. But just what I felt all season would be matchup play for the DBs. We will see.

your right, completely dependent on Josh. Were you aware that JUST OUR RUNNING BACKS (no josh allen stats) are a top 10 rushing offense in the past 3 months? Were you aware we have a top 5 defense all season long? Were you aware that we have the number 1 ranked special teams unit in the entire league, all year long? We got this stud WR named Stef Diggs, have you heard of him? People say weird ***** on the interwebs man. Like for 20 years we have been searching for a franchise QB while we wallowed away in self pity at the bottom of the NFL...a laughingstock...and now we actually have one of the top 3 QBs in the world and we are suddenly "too dependent" on our franchise QB? LOL
-
The Kill Shot...if he hits it for a tuddy we are in a completely different place with the Miami game. Also to your point about context....I don't have the stat or remember where I heard it (I am sure it was a podcast over these past two weeks) but it was comparing QBs on third downs and air yards, and the number 1 QB in the league by far at throwing at or past the sticks was Josh Allen. what theeee....THIS is what you got out of that article (did you read it?) and this discussion in this thread (did you read it?)???

Except all of the numbers show how effective our passing offense is on a per play basis sooooooooooooooooo
-
I didn't think it came off as personal, and I was not responding to your comment in a personal manner either brother! I am simply saying, I'll take "the good with the bad" just as it is. It has largely been game plan specific. He has shown the ability all year to hit open underneath/mid range targets. I am saying this is a non issue and im OK with that crappy offensive series where he took back to back deep shots to Gabe Davis and we punted (I was not at the time lol) because it means we also get multiple deep shot connections a game. And as the post above that shows the twitter thread by @sharpndpensel (a great follow by the way), the passing offense is still wildly effective so who cares how it gets done? The bottom line is, every metric shows that GREAT things happen when Joshua Patrick Allen drops back to fire the pigskin.

except for when he takes the home run swings and hits as pointed out by Greg Tompsett at Cover 1...."which 50 yard pass completion do you want to substitute for the 10 yard completion?" Ill ride or die with him taking shots.

Bills/Chiefs Atlanta - Official ROLLCALL thread
PaattMaann replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
We will have to agree to disagree about it though because I am done spending time and effort on a silly argument. However, Your household debt is a tad high, its actually about 60 grand less than you say, and obviously home mortgages are the driving reason behind debt...not just frivolous spending choices https://www.bankrate.com/personal-finance/debt/average-american-debt/#key-insights-on Go Bills! Lets meet for a beer in KC, first ones on me! -
Bills/Chiefs Atlanta - Official ROLLCALL thread
PaattMaann replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Its also possible that you just arent correct. Why is that NFL players and coaches have publicly commented about how the Super Bowl isnt a good atmosphere anymore? Is that because of all the normal die hards in attendance? Those people aren't relevant to our argument though. We are talking about Chiefs fans not wanting to spend money so they can save it to attend the super bowl, well he is, im telling him that is ridiculous. -
found it on twitter, the account who posted it is @TheMaxMeyer (blue check mark for what that is worth) It is essentially an even money bet when your using the point spread, so this bettor is betting basically even money that the Bills will win by more than 5. That kind of money is often from sharps/groups. They don't make a habit out of losing money. The splits between # of tickets betting (in this case, most people are betting the Bengals - these are your average joes) and the amount of money being bet (in this case, the vast majority of money is coming in on the Bills) indicates that the sharps/betting groups in vegas are betting on the Bills. Its never a sure indication of which way a game is going to go obviously, but as I said, the sharps/betting groups don't make it a habit of losing money.
