You can SAY what you want, but the advanced metrics simply don't support that argument. Yes they throw a screen pass 15% of the time, but he's also top 10 in deep ball completion percentage. As the numbers say, when given time and kept clean hes gonna find open guys and LIKES to push it downfield. I don't think hes a world beater by any means, average at best, but the numbers this year suggest progress. Couldn't agree more. I wanna see a lot of Cook and Hines this week.

Mac Jones ranks as very good when not under pressure. His completion percentage, QB rating, long ball/depth of target all rank him in the top half of the leagues QBs. When he is under pressure (either via blitz or just 4 man rush) he crumbles hard and is at the very bottom of the league in all of the above. The recipe for "solving" Mac is simple...get pressure. That works against all QBs, but this case is drastic. So I would say Mac has improved, when kept clean and has time. Just gotta get pressure.

actual practice reps will help them develop chemistry, something they havent had in a month

this is from yesterday...wondering how he looks today. Looked to tread gingerly on it in this video.

Serious question. I like the move of adding Hines (gave up nothing and actually got them to take Moss from us) and think he is a receiving threat and has home run capability. So why did the Colts let him go for nothing?

Trade Deadline (Nov 1) Bills Rumors / Speculation
PaattMaann replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup. Converting Allen and Tre's salary to signing bonus creates like 25 million themselves. Can do similar things with a couple other guys. Greg Tompsett from twitter is great with the cap stuff and laid out a way that we could create 60 million in cap room (we wont do all of those things) and thats not even factoring in that the cap will likely go up more than the current projection. We are finneeeee money wise. -
your point is valid, but you are also exaggerating. It doesn't happen EVERY TIME. There are good cut ups readily available on twitter that visually show exactly what I am describing, Devin being late to the open hole. Its not necessarily a knock on him, its just that we aren't currently tooled to run that run game effectively. *EDIT: my bad, I didn't read you saying "in inside zone runs". I was referring to us running outside zone runs where the holes are present but Devin has been too late to them and they are closing too quick. Apologies.

Another thing not being discussed enough here is not related to the line at all. Our RB's aren't good zone scheme RB's. Meaning they don't have to burst to hit the holes as they open that is required, and don't have the speed to hit the backside holes when those open later in the play movement. Singletary and Moss don't have it anyway, and Cook does but he isn't being used in this regard so I cant really speak to him. This isn't to say our RB's are too slow (although they kind of are) but it's to say that because defenses play zone against Allen the vast majority of the time, their defenders are looking into the backfield already so when they see run, they fire up to the LOS and holes frontside and backside close faster than against other teams.

Here is some issues with your idea....aside from the fact you simply do not get rid of a top 5 CB, ever, under any circumstances. Benford is a very likely candidate to transition to safety during the later stages of this season (for practice) and this offseason as a potential Micah replacement after his contract is up after next season. Dane Jackson will be a FA after this year, and will likely be too expensive for us to sign. So now you have Elam and Johnson and White, with Benford filling in as a backup and future safety in waiting, along with a rookie CB or two. That's how I see it playing out after this season. You just dont get rid of Tre.

the F? long shots to beat KC? wildness around here today.
-
next week. Making sure guys are good to go for the showdown. Then bye week and errbody gets right (except poor Micah)
-
based on practice videos, I think he is basically healthy now. Looked a lot better this week cutting. I think we will see a bigger role for him/target volume. Relaxxxxx
-
its the NFL. Guys play hurt ALLLLLLL the time.
-
Really hope Edmunds doesnt play either. Hammys have been a minor thing for him in his career. Let Dodson get the reps and ball out. Save Tremaine for next Sundays showdown.
-
Oliver isnt going on IR, he just sat out 3 games, if they were gonna IR him they would have. Id bet he plays Sunday...Benford can play anytime with a club if they choose. Man we can see how spoiled we have been the past several years on the injury front. Chicken littles

atrocious??? you smoke crack bro

From what ive seen in his past and what I expect us to do with him in the future is why I say he is a really really good TE. We would be focused on getting him the ball IF he was healthy and the other teams allowed us to get him the ball. Im sure at seasons end we will be happy with his production. We arent even a quarter of the way through the season.
-
Not concerned about injuries. Mckenzie should still be in protocol based on timeline/practice, but im confident he will be cleared and playing sunday. Can win this game without Poyer/Knox and throw in Edmunds in there too. We still have 17 and the Steelers really really suck at football. Just need 1 more point than them.
-
Its been 4 games and hes been hampered with multiple injuries and we have not been focusing on getting him the ball. Yes he is a really good TE.
-
it hasnt been. We have a really really good one in Knox. And we have a Morris as a backup who could develop into a real nice matchup weapon.

uhhhh, where? seeing -14 across the board no, not seriously. still at -14
