  1. I remember thinking the same exact thing! Damn did I want me some Russell Wilson...
  2. Would be ok with this but would be happier if we could trade down a bit and still get Manuel and pick up an extra 2nd/3rd for an ILB
  3. I can't remember the amount of games but I do remember the same thing happening last year with over 4 games being this way...Schedulers definitely don't like the Bills. If I were at OBD I'd bring this up to the league office
  4. Sure hope everyone is joking...the guy sounded like he was just happy to be on the team and would play anywhere the coaches needed him...
  5. I agree with taking Ogletree or even Jordan (if he's there)...those would be my top 2 picks but am also all for moving back (picking up an extra pick or 2) and taking whatever QB the FO falls in love with (hoping for either Wilson, Manuel or even Barkley if it's later in the round)
  6. Not sure if anyone else saw this on NFL.com but Greg Cosell (I always respect his insight on players) says he rates Nassib above Smith as top QB in draft! I'm not sold on any QB like I was last year with Luck, RGIII and even Wilson (check my postings) but if Cosell likes Nassib that puts me at ease if we take him...(I do really like Tyler Wilson but his hands are so damn small!) http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-draft/0ap2000000152809/Cosell-rates-Nassib-higher-than-Geno-Smith
  7. Right now with the way the talent is stacked up in this draft I would go DE/LB hybrid player in round 1 (unless staff really loves Geno Smith and he falls that far or one of the top 3 OTs). We need a flexible LB/DE for Pettine's scheme and my favorite player for that is Dion Jordan. I also really like Alec Ogletree (hope he's not off the board for his off field stuff). And I'd be good with Ansah (Pierre-Paul type) because of potential and to a lesser extent Mingo. I'm sure we will have our pick of 2nd Rd QBs minus Smith, Barkley and whomever the Jets take before us in the 2nd and unless we get Matt Flynn, I'm OK with drafting whomever Nix/Marrone want in the 2nd since at the very least we will have a good back up for the forseeable future. I'm not banging the table like I was last year with Russell Wilson on any of these QBs though. I really liked Tyler Wilson especially his toughness and competitiveness but his hands are incredibly small and we don't need more turnovers in Buffalo's cold weather. EJ Manuel would be interesting but I don't get the same feeling about him that I did with Cam and Wilson...Should be interesting, hope we don't screw this up
  8. 100% agree...Perfect QB for Buffalo!
  9. Couldn't have said it better...Love me some Stevie
  10. Told you guys...I knew this guy was the real deal and Chan could do so much with him. Its all good, athletic QBs with big arms and accuracy on the run come along all the time
  11. I'm just happy we got a player on the list (unlike last year)! I do think Freddy would've been in the top 20 if he finished the season healthy...love that guy and well deserved!
  12. Where'd you see that? I believe he deserves to make it but also believe that if Fjax was 83 I can't see Byrd being too much higher on the list in other players eyes...
  13. Awesome video!!! Hopefully this guy or Corp makes the PS and eventually turns into something special
  14. LOL Agree but I do trust Nix/Gailey because they haven't brought in a problem child yet. If they feel our locker room can handle Young and if they feel Young is a piece we need then I'm all for it
  15. Cordy Glenn, Reuben Randle, Stephen Hill or Jonathan Martin (in that order preferably)! Only thing is that a lot of teams in front of us in the 2nd need OL and WR (STL, IND, BAL, DEN, CLE, CAR)...Hope we get lucky...if not Lavonte David is a good consolation
  16. LOVE IT!!! If we couldn't trade down my realistic picks in order were Gilmore, Floyd or Kuechly...AWESOME Buddy pretty much telegraphed the pick again like I said before in other posts during WGR radio interview and the Draft Luncheon!! BOOM!!! Now lets hope Martin/Glenn/Massie are there in the 2nd and We get a big WR in 3rd (Also Russell Wilson somewhere later)
  17. Would love this to happen...Get a 2nd and our draft could be something like, Glenn, Randle/Hill, Josh Robinson, and either Best LB or QB with our 3rd...(hope its LB so we get Russell Wilson later)
  18. Screw trading up for a receiver...we're not Atlanta (who thought they were a receiver a way from the SB) if he falls to us great but only way I want to trade up is we can get Luck/Griffin (which we can't) or if the FO really thinks Kalil is Joe Thomas (even then I don't want to trade too much away in order to get him)
  19. Totally agree with you on David and Randle being one of the only players i'd want over him...David is a great all around LB who is awesome in pass coverage as well
  20. I wonder if Barron didn't have that sports hernia that hurt him around the combine and pro days if he would be the "elite 6" discussion making it #7? Not saying I want him because I think Wilson and Byrd are great back there but if Nix is all about BPA it is possible that he's our nickel LB and back up SS. I'll go on record saying I would like to either trade down and take a player like Glenn or stay put and take Gilmore/Kuechly/Blackmon/Floyd...
  21. Been saying David would be a great pick in the 2nd round for a while now BUT I think if we go Gilmore in the 1st like I feel Nix has hinted we will then we are most likely going OT in 2nd. Hopefully we trade down a bit in the first and pick up a 2nd so we can fill CB(Gilmore)/OT(Massie/Martin/Glenn)/LB(David) positions in the first 2 rounds...
  22. My dream scenario with a trade down and add a 2nd: 1. LT Glenn 2. WR Randle 2. LB David (think he falls to mid 2nd because he only fits OLB in 4-3 and not as many teams play or need that position) 3. CB Josh Robinson (Trumaine Johnson if Josh isn't there) 4. QB Russell Wilson (absolutely LOVE this kid) 4. BPA (OT James Brown, LB Tank Carder, DE Oliver Vernon) 5-7th depth... What I think Nix will do if no trades: 1. CB Gilmore 2. LT Massie/Martin (think one of them falls) 3. WR Quick 4. QB Russell Wilson 4. LB Carder 5-7th depth
  23. Make sure you give the luncheon and WGR with Nix a look...He stated he visited extensively with Floyd at the combine and at his pro day but after listening to the whole luncheon and WGR I would predict the pick to be Gilmore unless someone they weren't expecting to fall does
  24. Very true...I think that draft luncheon said alot. It seemed like he would go out of his way to mention getting a shut down corner even when asked about QBs or DEs. This makes me think we may be taking Stephon Gilmore especially after listening to the comparison's cook made on both him and Kirkpatrick. Although I would prefer trading down and getting an extra 2nd or 3rd and having a draft of Glenn, Reuben Randle/Stephen Hill, Lavonte David, best CB available in 3rd (Johnson, Norman...) and Wilson...I believe after listening to WGR and the luncheon that if Nix is to stay put our first 4 rounds could be 1. Gilmore 2. Best Tackle available (maybe Martin slips) 3. Best WR available (Quick perhaps) 4. Best LB available and hopefully Russell Wilson
  25. Probably because Russell Wilson probably won't make it past round 4
