  1. Right, that was just stupid on the part of the Lions’ players. But what’s to prevent associates of someone affiliated with a game placing bets (players, refs, etc.) on their behalf? I’m not claiming this is necessarily prevalent or that gambling shouldn’t be allowed, but cheating could be happening at any point in time and could go completely unnoticed by some of these tracking mechanisms if the culprits are smarter about it rather than stupid.
  2. How many are betting on games in some way right now and not getting caught?
  3. Sounds silly, but these guys aren’t all professional athletes because of their reasoning skills. What was Calvin Ridley betting, which cost him time and money in the league?
  4. Speaking of the spread some love video, anyone else ever order a Blue Light and be looked at like you have a third arm? Ordered one where I’m at recently, and the bartender had no idea what I was ordering, said he’d never heard it called that. What else would I call it?
  5. And Aubrey just missed wide right with chance to seal the game against the Giants. Beane would be an idiot to trade a 1st round pick for that, only for the guy to miss in the Super Bowl.
  6. It’s the most annoying cadence ever
  7. Looks like Nabers landed on his nadders
  8. At the very least, I feel like they’ve finally built the offense in a way where they should be able to handle bad weather better. A nasty O Line, run game and solid TE play. But agree, the rain could draw from our passing advantage.
  9. Goodell’s upset about being called a puppet by that disgruntled ex-Commanders employee 😃
  10. And if he leaves the team cap room so they don’t suck, maybe he can win some Super Bowls and be even more marketable off the field.
  11. He apparently has lost a ton of weight
  12. Don’t know where you saw this, but ESPN actually gives the Bills a higher % of winning: https://www.espn.com/espn/betting/story/_/id/41422426/week-4-nfl-games-betting-odds-lines-picks-spreads-more-2024-season
  13. Agreed. If this offense keeps humming, how does he even fit in? Maybe an injury would open a position up, but otherwise, no here.
  14. Maybe that same exec doesn’t think as highly of the Pegulas or McD, relative to some other organization?
  15. Good one! MarQueis Gray Here’s a tough one: Harvard
  16. When it comes to perseverance and getting back up again, I’ve always been a big fan of Tubthumping:
  17. Nate Clements Pittsburg St
  18. Bills 24 Ravens 20 A late score by the Ravens makes the score look tighter than the game actually is. Josh & Cook help run the clock out on last possession.
  19. Agreed, I wouldn’t call it complimentary either.
  20. With all that late money rolling in on the Jags, the line makers probably cleaned up. Apparently the betting public has been taking the beating: https://www.espn.com/espn/betting/story/_/id/41398212/betting-numbers-sportsbooks-piling-wins-incredible-underdog-run The line makers ultimately are trying to have a spread that will encourage 50% of bets on both sides, not necessarily who they think will win. So that said, hopefully the Bills prove the betting public wrong again.
  21. I think they call it “complementary” football
  22. I feel like we need a “hear me out” in this thread too
  23. 4:45 mark, Kyle Brandt makes the case for NIN “Closer” as our theme song for Jags-Bills
