We only had nine possessions yesterday, two of which were shortened end of half scenarios. The defense has got to get off the field, so that we even have the ball. And then when we get the ball, gotta have better pass protection, WRs have to get open and make plays, and Josh has got to stop throwing boneheaded INTs. If just one of those things is better yesterday, we probably win the game.

Anyone know how much time Rousseau missed yesterday?

Now that we have Hines as the full-time PR and McKenzie is struggling to offer consistent production, I would be shocked if Shakir doesn’t start getting phased into the offense more and more. McD always slow plays it with his younger players in favor of the veterans, and plays the “long game” with all of the players.

Funny thing, he’s been perfect in our close wins. We have bigger problems that blaming the loss on Bass’ missed 55 yard FG, which is essentially a coin flip (which somehow we never seem to win either).

Hopefully Beane is looking for online help here, and incidentally reads your suggestion about improving the O Line.

The INTs are definitely some of Josh’s worst, although I remember much darker QB days than today. Aside from the INTs, the pass protection seemed to be non-existent today, WRs were struggling to get open, and he had just about a 14 minute stretch today when his Defense couldn’t get him the ball back. They all need to pick it up moving forward.

The guy came into the week the heavy favorite for league MVP, throws a couple boneheaded INTs, is under attack all day when he’s lucky enough to even have the ball. He’s going to rebound just fine. Did he look to have a lack of confidence in his two TD runs?

I agree about J. Johnson looking like a liability, but Edmunds was literally all over the field once again today.

Injuries to the DEF finally starting to show. Jets dominated the time of possession, which limited our offensive chances. Turnovers by Josh didn’t help. Jets D was looking good, and Diggs seems to be the only dependable receiving option.

I’ll remember his silence after the last however many times we smacked his team around.

Edmunds did have a pass defense and 16 tackles last week, 13 of which were solo. Does that count for anything?

Nope, Edmunds going to be expected to play two LB positions at the same time today.
