In reviewing existing deals, I’m not really seeing many release opportunities, outside of a guy or two like McKenzie. Even that only frees up a couple million. Their best chances of freeing up more meaningful cap space is going to be restructures and/or trades. Based on McD and Beane’s comments, I’m thinking Edmunds is the first FA they try to retain. Probably don’t have enough money left to retain Poyer and Singletary, versus looking to the rest of the roster to step up in their place. Beyond any marginal depth they sign in FA, the draft is their path to land any meaningful talent at a reasonable price.

Agree, it’s the same Diggs that was the first one to the hospital to see Damar. He’s just an emotional guy. He expects more from the guys around him, just like us.

Funny thing is, first thing Beane said in his end of year presser last year is that we need to improve the OL. If that’s the case, who was evaluating our OL personnel, bc that was the worst performing unit of this team and a big reason why we only scored 10 points today.

Well that’s just a loser mentality

I was reflecting on the season this morning, and what song sums it up for me. Chumbawumba “Tubthumping” comes to mind. The resiliency that this team and community have shown this season is right up there with the 90’s Bills’ teams. Josh may want to stick to Sinatra today, but if everyone else listens to this, the team and crowd will be ready to run through a brick wall today. I know they call him Joe Cool, but my gut is telling me Burrow is in for a rough day. And I have not been drinking yet.

How about Dorsey use the game today as his interview?

Philly definitely looked like a deserving NFC representative for the Super Bowl. Going to be tough for either the 49ers or Cowboys to go there and win.

Lane Johnson mauls his opponents every play too. McD and Dorsey need to scheme something up so that Spencer Brown does that every play too.
