  1. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bills-nfl/reich-emerges-as-strong-candidate-to-be-bills-next-coach-20141231 Maybe this has been pointed out already, but I think Jimbo is flipping someone off in this picture!
  2. Could you or someone else please explain to me how you know for sure that Mike Williams is still good enough to be effective in this league? Yes, he had some impressive seasons early in his career, but that doesn't mean he is necessarily still good enough to cut it. Do you think the Bills gave up on Lee Evans to soon also?
  3. While the performance of the offense this year has been horrific often, I'd be surprised if Pegula blows it all up considering that the Bills have their best record in ten years. There have been some losses which really sting (ie Kansas City, Miami, Oakland, Denver), in which Marrone declined to go for 4th and 1s late. That's one part of Marrone's in game management which I question, but the Bills have also pulled out some of their best wins in a long time this season too. I'd say Marrone gets at least one more season as head coach, to see if he can get to 10 or more wins next year.
  4. There's not much of a trade market for a guy w/one game left under contract, not to mention we're past trade deadlines for the season.
  5. Could have also been worse if KC had won. Hopefully Texans can hold on, Bills take care of business and Bengals can lose. Stay positive!
  6. If Denver beats Cincy this week, which we need, the Pats will not have home-field wrapped up prior to playing us in Week 17. It will be that much sweeter to beat the Pats if it means something to them anyway.
  7. I was confused at first too, but after reading the OP understood the general sentiment.
  8. If the Bills are any good, it doesn't matter to me whether the other team is banged up or not. Yes, it might make our road to the playoffs easier, but it doesn't mean the Bills are any better. Also, while these teams are banged up today, some of these injuries might resolve themselves by the time we play these teams, and the Bills might have some of their own injuries to worry about by then. One game at a time!
  9. Bring back Wade and lift the playoff jinx! Second choice - "The Coach" Chuck Dickerson. Who loves ya baby!
  10. Agree, Hard Knocks would be better than the disgusting Toronto Series
  11. You're assuming the Defense couldn't have been better without Driesbach. How do you know this?
  12. Marshawn rushed for over 1,000 yards in his first two seasons with the Bills with almost 1,300 all-purpose yards with Trent & JP as QB, so you have pretty tough standards if that qualifies as "terrible".
  13. Peyton Manning/Andrew Luck couldn't have anything to do with that....
  14. Agreed, if we're being objective (and not biased Bills fans), the ball does not go forward. Maybe 15 years from that date we can finally say we're back in the playoffs!
  15. This team needs to figure out how to stop the run. Yesterday's game was embarrassing.
  16. My interpretation of the OP's point is that the Toronto series needs to end, meaning in "the future". The series exists for no other reason besides money. Even when the Bills play a game there that could lead to being in the playoffs, almost half the crowd is cheering for the opponent and the Toronto media proceeds to say after the game how they aren't ready to accept the Bills until they start winning. Does that kind of fan base deserve even one home game a year from your Buffalo Bills? Folks can argue about whether the Bills woulda or coulda been in the playoffs if this or that happened this year. But, removing the Toronto series in the future is something that could be even the slightest difference-maker in getting a win to be in the playoffs or not, win the division or not, get a bye or not, etc.
  17. So because Kiko has been really good at MLB, folks should be banned because they question whether he might be even better at OLB? As at least one poster has also pointed out, even the coaches are on record as stating this about Kiko.
  18. While the Bills certainly need to take care of their own business, it would be really helpful to their cause if Miami can beat the Jets this week and if Baltimore can beat Pittsburgh this week. This would help us to control our own Wild Card destiny within the division, and we need Baltimore to be better positioned to win the Central division Wild Card tiebreaker (since we beat them head-to-head). Obviously lots of other matchups too, but I look at these at the biggest for the Bills in Week 13.
  19. so the bills win 23-0, and espn now projects them to go 11-5 with 86% chance, instead of 12-4 with 60-something percent chance....
  20. While I'm skeptical of the pass rush too, I don't think the fact that we have no proven backup at QB is a fair reason to think a team cannot win the Super Bowl. Teams win the Super Bowl often without having to rely on a backup QB.
  21. Come on. Miami was able to put up 24 against the Pats at home. I think our Bills have a WAY better offense than Miami (O-Line, RBs, WRs & QB). In addition, NE's offense will be missing Aaron Hernandez this week, one of the key weapons that Brady has been able to rely on the first two weeks. Pats beat Miami 38-20. I think we will see the Bills use up the clock on some long drives, as our offense is better suited to do than Miami's. This game finishes in the 27-24 range. I'll say Bills on top!
  22. Yes, but Maybin will not actually park the car. His roll will be to open the drivers side door after the vehicle has been parked, with a celebratory flexing of his mussels in suing.
