  1. Very excited to see what Torrence can bring to the table.
  2. So we love to play zone coverage, and Elam and Dane give up some of the most separation in zone coverage? Is that on them, or by design that they play off more than other CBs in zone coverage?
  3. No. Re-signing Oliver does not make the team any faster than before. The additions of Williams and Leonard both happened after he decided he was taking over play-calling. And who knows how much Williams will even get on the field over the other LBs on the team.
  4. https://www.panthers.com/news/ron-rivera-among-growing-list-of-head-coaches-calling-plays Looks like Ron Rivera did, Vic Mangio, Dan Quinn, so some others to add to the list in your original post. I found it interesting that Rivera actually took over to give Eric Washington time to grow and eventually learn how to call plays.
  5. You forgot to mention that Ryan Fitzpatrick went to Harvard 😇
  6. “Could”, exactly lol. Does a new car cost more than a used car? You don’t build a new stadium and then not charge more.
  7. Given Frazier’s aspirations to become a HC again, I’ve been wondering whether he’s been half-distracted come playoff time because he’s also trying to land a HC gig at the same time. Could be wrong about that, but maybe McD’s been thinking something similar and that’s why he’s ready to take more control versus someone else coming in and doing the same thing in the playoffs.
  8. Damn, that looks good. I’d be ready to run through a brick wall after that breakfast too. Excited for what Rapp might bring to the team this year.
  9. Not to mention, I thought getting off the line was supposed to be his strength when he was drafted. Doesn’t seem to have consistently translated to the NFL for him.
  10. Is taking the year off to focus on Head Coaching interviews another way of Frazier saying that interviewing while the Bills have playoff games is distracting to him?
  11. Watson needs someone to help massage his stats.
  12. Shell + Hopkins = Shopkins. Just missing the 2nd part of that equation.
  13. I was being a little tongue in cheek, as I totally agree with your take. When the Pats were winning Super Bowls, the last thing the league would want is for a crowned Super Bowl champ to be deemed a fraud. The league had a lot of incentive to turn a blind eye and downplay anything the Pats were doing against the rules at that point, because it would bring into question the entire integrity of the NFL. Now that the Pats aren’t winning, it makes one wonder if the league is quicker to punish them for their violations of rules.
  14. Are you suggesting that the league turned more of a blind eye when the Pats* were winning Super Bowls?
  15. A commentator unlike any other
  16. I agree with you that Jags will be tough. Lawrence will be entering his third NFL season now and getting a weapon in Calvin Ridley. And Etienne will be second season removed from his injury. On the question posed by the OP, I’d prefer an easier to middle of the pack schedule, whatever ultimately would increase our chances to earn the bye. Unfortunately, I think we have our work cut out for ourselves this year.
  17. Maybe I’m calling for 14 formation then?
  18. I’d prefer Gronk instead, but if we landed Gronk and Ertz, maybe we could actually play some 10 formation.
  19. This schedule is awesome. Bye week late in season when we’ll need it, right before we play the Chiefs too. Lots of primetime games as well. Definitely looks tough but let’s go!
