This thread triggered a thought I had the other day. Just a take. I was looking at Allen’s numbers on pro football reference the other day. His yards per attempt have been around 7.4 I want to say the last couple years and comp percentage around 63. Tom Brady said in a Zoom interview with Allen that he needs to take the secondary reads more often. I think maybe at least with the comp percentage there is more meat on the bone and that could keep us out of games like the Jets game. I love Allen I’m just thinking that in the moment philosophy tweak could take him to the next level. And I’m sure Brady (Joe)can put him in good situations to make those secondary reads easier.

First time in history 2 dynasties in one decade… KC Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.

I think Buffalo is the perfect combination of being a small town with a decent size metropolitan areas to support it. And then you have another one to the East in Rochester. And you have the upper class to the North so I think we have a lot of regional support with that small town feel. Then you have so many people over the years (about the size of the city of Buffalo’s current population) that moved away and planted roots around the country and I’m sure over the last 60 years has grown exponentially. And the fact that we were once a big city and now are small, we have that chip on our shoulder. And the Bills are kind of our megaphone and our only lifeline. Our Super Bowl rn in the 90s I’m sure collected a lot of fans nationally, and the fact that we have Josh Allen . in a nut shell I think its just genuine hardcore fandom that comes in waves and other place might not have that as much because they have more attractions in their cities.

You know what’s funny I was thinking the same thing the other day about this. I’m thinking it’s because we are already trained as fans on this and it’s just easy and automatic to get the crowd going. i personally am not a huge fan of the song and it doesn’t really pump me up but i am there screaming the thing when i go.

I personally think Nick Wright is hilarious. It’s kind of part of his show being overly biased about the chiefs and Mahomes but it’s funny and entertaining and in some cases he’s not wrong because they won the superbowl last year. I think he’s pretty accurate on a lot of his assessments too. And as of late he has been giving Buffalo some love.

Beane will be able to get us under the cap and get us to 25 million under the cap with not crazy restructures. Per Greg Tompsett and Joe Marino Unless we win Super Bowl where we won’t restructure Allen and we’ll absorb his massive cap hit next year.

I feel like it’s similar to Tre White and Spencer Brown. The reps aren’t in his muscle memory and he doesn’t get enough snaps to get that closing feel by the end of the game. Von I love you but he’s not his usual self right now. He needs a full offseason to get his mind muscle connection right. Look what it did for Spencer Brown. Von is a physical freak and has not lost physically imo.
