I am not usually one to call for the firing of a coach, but the blow outs this season, the miscues on Edwards and then Fitzpatrick, and on selecting a defensive coordinator twice says a lot about him as a coach. It is time for the Bills and Chan to move on.

I used to listen to Matthews on the radio and read his column. However, the more I listened and read the less he seems to know about football. And then he got Fred Smerlas on the radio and it became the Patriots are the best thing ever and Buffalo sucks and will never be any good. That grew old and I just stopped listening and reading. It isn't just the income tax on the players. It is the full slate of economic activity generated by the Bills that makes the $100 million more than worth it for the state. Sales taxes, gas taxes, alcohol taxes etc all produce revenue for the state. Most of the folks talking on the radio just repeat tired old talking points which are often devoid of hard facts. Don't listen to them any more as I get too frustrated when there is a lack of facts in the discussion.
