  1. Somebody said they saw a clip of him speaking to a group of trainers at the preseason game with Detroit and pointing at his chest while on the sidelines. Seems like a really good kid. Just can't catch a break. Prayers are with him.
  2. The Neopolitan boneache.
  3. He good. He bad good. Pssssst... He is a stud.
  4. Great Post! KC didn't show up, but the good news is we did. If we can avoid injury to key personnel we'll be looking like a football team for the first time in many years, a decade.
  5. If we hold them to 120 total rushing yards or less (however you parce them out), we can reasonably expect to beat them IMO.
  6. Last year they used lots of two and even some three TE sets (on this year's roster they carry only two due to TMs injury). They also have two big blocking backs. I expect them to run the ball tomorrow, lots.
  7. Agree The Marcellosaurus is the best name by far.
  8. I too was impressed with Heard. Found it funny that MJ got all the attention. Heard's almost as big as he is. Definitely a guy to watch.
  9. Exactly. Attitude is not everything but it is important. And it starts with the HC. Everybody knows how hard it is to win in the NFL. The HC needn't remind everyone.
  10. Didn't say he was a good run blocker though.
  11. Except he is a playmaker with 12 interceptions as a pro. Donte is not and does not. Like Donte, he takes bad angles, and he's tough and physical.
  12. TT is Chan's boy and recruited him again as soon as his Dolphin's gig was up. Chan does not like Levi, who clearly has more upside of the two. Chan likes guys who execute his instructions to the letter. Hence his love of Roosevelt. Levi frustrates/irritates Chan, IMO.
  13. At the time I thought it was Demaryius Thomas, who Gailey had at Tech. Never thought it was Tebow, and Nix later denied the Tebow rumour.
  14. Think you are right. Thought Jasper actually looked good on a couple of plays against Lions. And that was a big improvement because, as you say, he had shown nothing. Given how raw he is showing improvement over a few preseason games is a vcery positive sign. He belongs on the PS asa developing player.
  15. Big, good speed and good, if not great hands. Kid sure loooked nlike a great prospect to me. Certainly liked him over NR, who is small but not fast - usually a deadly combo (even if it works out once in a blue moon).
  16. Don't, I say DON'T try and understand this because it is guaranteed to drive you crazy. Hue Jackson went temporarily insane on the sidelines the other night when the Raiders played the Saints. Why? Because he tried to understand the folowing fact situation: Its third and one. Trent throws two yards behind the line of scrimage - result, you guessed it (if you didn't see it)- fourth down. You see, Hue should not have tried to understand this. It is dangerous to his health. Hopefully he has now learned a valuable lesson. Ergo, Kyle over Trent.
  17. Anyone seeing Trent drop back in the pocket the other night had to see that he was basically lethargic, ineffective and turnover prone (independently of sub-par O-line play). Unfortunately Trent is a shadow or mere picture of an NFL QB, an empty shell of what might have been. I don't know enuf to say whether he just never had it or whether this is testimony to what inevitably happens in the NFL when a rook is asked to start behind an awful line and takes a pounding, a la D. Carr. Really its sad what can happen, but thats the NFL. Ultracompetitive, brutal and merciless. And thats why and how we like it.
  18. Just wait till he lines up next to Nick Fairley. Ohhhhhhh noooooo!
  19. Will never understand the hatred for Bledsoe. Guy was a football player.
  20. Not true. He went down the middle (a completion to James Hardy)and stood in there like a man with that big bad Zona safety steaming right at him. Last time I saw him do it though. Now he can only eat jello and watch Barney & Friends.
  21. I know Gailey likes Roosevelt and for sure he is a fan favourite in Buff. But the Bills also like big receivers and IMO Aiken is the better athlete too.
  22. Well, hes one weird looking mother, I'll give him that. They should have called him Pears.
  23. He looked good last night. If he can catch a properly thrown ball as well as that garbage pass Thigpen threw last night he will be a player. Big and fast and apparently with good hands. That was a very athletic move to haul that ball in. Athleticism is there. Liked Hubbard too. Typical Badger. Fantastic measurables but raw as dead buffalo meat.
  24. The Lions have built a monster d-line, but the Bills are building one too. Everyone knows how to beat the Pats - put TB on his a$$. JMO but I think that, barring injury to some of our key players on D, the Pats will have their hands full with the Bills this year.
  25. Sounds like you can't lose. Win win.
