  1. Its ok folks. Anderson = Turnover time.
  2. D. Cook 2nd round, A. Hunt 3rd round, C. McCaffery 8th overall. Well he was a great college player.
  3. Sure but they put up points too.
  4. Taylor is challenged but I'd take last years O and this years D. Why wasnt that possible?
  5. All the NE fanboys are predicting that the Pats will quickly turn it around. They have done it before etc...But the truth is that the problems of this team run deep on both sides of the ball so it goes beyond Brady. And when the system starts to break down so does a system QB. They will win the East this year but only because the Division is weak and not because they are the best team in football. They are not the best team in the AFC - I think the Steelers may be. They will lose 5 maybe 6 games this year imo and there is no way they repeat as champs. In fact they will not be going to the big dance probably for a long time. They may beat the Saints (or maybe not) but I certainly don't expect to see them dominate as many think. On the contrary I think the problems will continue to be evident and I don't think even Belly and C. can turn this one around.
  6. I don't mind the rotation. Keeping guys fresh makes sense to me if you have the horses to do it effectively. But no run stuffing zero tech is worth the money MD is being paid. He is (or should be) a disruptive 3 tech. McDermott's scheme allows for using MD this way so I expect to see that as the season progresses.
  7. As ZZ Top would say, "they got some nice girls there" har har har.
  8. Or for the boatload of picks we will gladly deliver for moving ahead of the second to last place Jets.
  9. Bad day for former Bills, Jason Peters sidelined with groin injury.
  10. Punts on fourth down, accepts the penalty, either Bowles is an idiot or they are tanking. 0-16 is where they are headed.
  11. Well if they could go back in time there is no way that they write that contract imo. If that is true then its not just me who disagrees with you.
  12. But wasnt he touched by Wood while his knee was down?
  13. Donald probably better deserves it. I don't have a problem with large contracts but before inking one the team has to understand who and exactly what they are buying. The Bills were on notice concerning Dareus. Chan would complain about always "having to stay on him". I remember a long soundbite where Drayton Florence dressed Marcel down on the sidelines saying he had to raise his head/motivation to the level of his talent or else etc...and that was in 2011 if memory serves. Would obviously love for the light to go on but I'm sceptical at this point. Looks to me like he's been paid and has lazed out. Someone mentioned Sapp. Thats the player Marcel could and should be but just isn't. Unless he turns it around big time I don't see Sean putting up with it.
  14. Hmmm...reminds me of the Jason Peters debate. I would have paid Peters and I'd pay Donald.
  15. He made fantastic throws last night when he needed to. And he was happy to let the left side of his line and the running game take over when he didn't need to. I know its early but I see him as the clear front runner in the pro prospect sweepstakes.
  16. Even if it is a promising class to me there is Darnold and then there is everybody else and the separation is clear. You don't tank a season from the outset but drafting Darnold would almost be worth it. I'm sick at the thought of him suiting up as a Jet. Also as may have been mentioned, Mayfield may not be Sean's kind of guy.
  17. Well if NE not being as good as we assumed/feared they would be is the other side of KC being better than we hoped they would be I'll take it. Plus seeing Kraft, Belly, Brady etc...publicly humiliated before an audience of tens of millions gathered to celebrate how wonderful they are supposed to be is a bonus that will last a lifetime.
  18. L. Bell, Latavius Murray, Mike Tolbert, DeMarco Murray, etc... all would likely have converted. Mike's a good player and can run inside and outside the tackles but he's not really a short yardage back, like not really at all. Actually Blount doesn't have a stellar conversion percentage either but its much better on fourth down than on third down conversions. I don't think the Pats have a short yardage back on their roster.
  19. Dont know what stats you are looking at. How 'bout L. Bell? Mike got stuffed twice tonight.
  20. Mike is great but never saw him a short yardage back. Bill is learning he is not L. Blount.
  21. Yeah on the ground with his back to Tommy.
  22. At least he's good in zone...oh wait...
  23. Don't forget Bobby April. Love me some STms.
