  1. 1) He should be fired. 2) I had no idea Manson was a Browns fan.
  2. FACT: Steve McNair - murdered by girlfriend .... IN AN APARTMENT. McNair grew up 1,380 miles from me and I remember saying to myself, "this doesn't surprise me one bit."
  3. Care to elaborate? I know nothing about anyone who grew up 45 minutes from me. What do you know about Terrelle Pryor that would make it unsurprising that he was stabbed in the chest by a woman?
  4. Calling someone dumb isn't nice. And the rest of your post makes no sense. You think Boston isn't a massive media market? How about number 9 out of 210.
  5. One thing I left out (which you reminded me of, thank you) is that yes ... they are human. I love the human element of sports (mostly baseball and football). Football is a very fast game. I don't expect refs to get all the calls right. I expect them to miss a lot and I expect them to get a lot (across 16 games) wrong. It's the egregious misses or miscalls that bother me. If I can sit on my couch and see a blatant late hit or pass interference, and there's an official standing right there looking at it, then I expect the flag to be thrown. If something has to be reviewed in super duper bionic HD slow motion sixty five times and there's still a question? I don't hold that against them - which is why I think replays should be done at real speed and not in slow motion - but that's another conversation. Josh Allen isn't the only QB who's been hit WAY late and no flag thrown. It happens every week. That is inexcusable to me. When Josh got hit in the head vs. the Patriots earlier this season, they correctly threw the flag. But then they convened for 5 minutes and decided there was some BS penalty against the BIlls that offset it. It's crap like THAT, that makes me think some of these guys are on the take.
  6. Each season, I get closer and closer to realizing that there are some officials who are on the take. If anything, I think there may be a few individual refs making/missing calls to fatten their wallets. I do not think it's a widespread conspiracy. I do, however, think that the BS last week with Sean Payton was retaliatory. That is very bad. The phantom tripping calls against Dallas last week really had me believing there was a payoff. If I ever convinced myself it was widespread, I'd stop watching football. It's why I stopped watching boxing. And I LOVED boxing. I hope it never gets to that point.
  7. Yep. Second season. I totally got your point. In fact, most great QBs did not start out of the gate as "great" QBs. And many who have, never lived up to that early success. I am absolutely pleased with Allen's growth thus far.
  8. Wilson did have two 300 yard games in his second season. He also had four games in which he threw for under 200 ... his TEAM went 3-1 in those games.
  9. We need more murderers, cheaters and coke dealers who act more professionally in order to win super bowls. I think it was a little over the top. I'm confident McDermott will coach them appropriately. But, Christ ... let the young men enjoy the game.
  10. It's too hard to figure out what that moron is saying. Frustrates me. I wait for others to translate and put it into written form.
  11. Give me The Sound of Music, or give me DEATH!
  12. You just need wifi. But you'll need Amazon Prime to get music if it's not synched to a phone.
  13. I feel kinda bad for Dak and Zeke. They played well. I'm sure they wanted to win in front of their home crowd. Just kidding!!!! ***** them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. I did manage to get the other two on!!!
  15. Is this question for Browns fans? How can the Bills trade Baker Mayfield for Josh Allen when the Bills already have Josh Allen? If I was a Browns fan, then yes .. I would trade Baker Mayfield for Josh Allen. You really should make this a poll.
  16. We have an Alexa echo and love it. I keep it in the kitchen and take it outside with me whilst grilling in the warmer months. The music selection with Amazon Prime is excellent. It's great to have a song pop into my head that I haven't heard in a while and just tell Alexa to play it. Does great with genres, too. Our cell phones were listening to us long before Alexa was. I honestly couldn't care less.
  17. He has to stop calling designed QB runs in long yardage situations. He also has to stop thinking Frank Gore is the right guy to give us breathing room when we're playing from our own end zone. The play calling on the "drive" following the interception was pathetic. Overall, he called a good game. But he still made NUMEROUS head-scratching calls. I wish he would stop trying to be smarter than the opponent's D coordinator. In most cases, he simply is NOT.
  18. I'd never put you on ignore, E. Happy Thanksgiving, my friend!
