  1. My unpopular opinion is that Tasker does not belong in the HOF.
  2. Rodgers was HORRIBLE. But if you ask him .... "I know they didn't expect what I was about to bring, but I was just so prepared," Rodgers said. "I was so ready. So we get into the first game, the first run-through, there's 30 questions in a Jeopardy round, and after the first 15 questions, we go to break. They say it in your earpiece, 'Take it to break.' So I take it to break, and there was a pause, and I think everyone was like, 'Whoa, OK, this guy kind of knows what he's doing here.' Such a dick. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31183282/what-film-room-aaron-rodgers-studied-no-other-crush-jeopardy-guest-host
  3. I was one year old.
  4. OH MY GAWD! https://www.einsteinbros.com/erm_menu_item/texas-brisket-egg-sandwich-2/
  5. $6.70 for that puppy and I'd pay it in a heartbeat. That looks effin' amazing!
  6. You see deGrom yesterday? Struck out 9 in a row, which is one shy of the all-time record (Tom Seaver). Total of 14 strikeouts for the second straight start. And he even got the win!
  7. Are you reelin' in the years? Stowin' away the time Are you gatherin' up the tears? Have you had enough of mine
  8. Yes, indeed. AND the work ethic/drive.
  9. This is a great point. Good chances are the salesman needs to sell a car more than you need to buy one.
  10. You're not going to get away from doc fees. And if you find a place that has little-to-no doc fees, they're getting it from you in some other clever way. Car dealers, new and used, are among the scummiest people on earth. The onus is on the consumer to do the homework. If you're buying new, the price is going to be the same wherever you go. Decide the make/model you want. Test drive it at the nearest dealership to make sure you want it. Call the dealership you want to work with. Give him your information over the phone so he can run your credit, etc. Go in an pick up your car in the next day or two. That will have you in the dealership for less than an hour.
  11. It's really a shame. Ever since George fell victim to dementia and subsequently passed away, the Yankees team and fan base have lost nearly all the class they once had. Even as a Mets fan, from the early 80s through the Joe Torre era, I always rooted for the Yankees unless they were playing the Mets. I grew up in a Yankees household, so I watched them as much as I watched the Mets. But once they signed A-Rod, I was out. And since then, they have not been the respected organization they were under George's leadership. Now their fans (not all, obviously) are no better than Philly fans. Yankees aren't Philly/Dodger-level scummy. But they're getting close.
  12. Your homemade pastrami breakfast sammiches at the tailgate were killer!! Must give a nod to @mrags for his breakfast "fatties," too. Heavenly.
  13. Then Jameis Winston is the most accurate passer in the league! 😀
  14. I really wanted to like him as a Bill, but it was abundantly clear that the Bills were just funding his Olympic dreams and that really pissed me off. But ... I also have that soft spot that many others do. All in all, I wish him luck.
  15. Weird. I usually call those "incompletions."
  16. Schobel has always been who I think is "next up," for the Wall. I think this is a great call.
  17. @Rico
  18. That's how I found her.
  19. That's pretty cool that Benson was there!
  20. "From Washington to New York to Denver, the result has been the same. The Mets suffered their seventh postponement of the season on Friday, when their game against the Rockies at Coors Field was called off due to freezing temperatures and snow. The Mets and Rockies will make it up with a single-admission doubleheader beginning at 5:10 p.m. ET/3:10 p.m. MT on Saturday. So continues a disjointed season for the Mets, who had their Opening Series in Washington wiped out because of COVID-19 issues, before rain washed away games against the Marlins and Phillies. Another rainstorm forced the postponement of Thursday’s game. The Mets have completed just four games in the past eight days." https://www.mlb.com/mets/news/mets-rockies-april-16-opener-postponed
  21. I wasn't a huge Girardi fan at first, but I think he did a really good job. His last year with the Yankees was phenomenal and exciting. They were "this close" to the world series. I was all in on the Mets getting him. And I agree with you 100% about Judge. I've been saying he's overrated from day one. He can't hit and he can't stay healthy. Nice kid. The the juice isn't worth the squeeze.
