  1. Giving Beane immunity for drafting Allen is akin to worshiping Ralph for keeping the Bills in Buffalo. Meh.
  2. Joe - first of all, hello. But if you look at recent history, you’ll see that teams have won the Super Bowl with top tier QBs within their first 4 years of starting. We are in year six.
  3. I may be guilty of mildly trolling in the past. But those days are behind me now! This is absolutely a serious topic for discussion. I’m not calling for the guy’s head. But I think we’re at the point where we need to start asking ourselves how long we can wait for this team to go the distance with a top tier QB. It took the Bills 17 years to replace Kelly. I’ll be damned if Allen’s prime years are wasted on an arrogant, rigid, beady-eyed little prick while other teams on the NFL continue to understand how to build around Allen’s kind of talent - and even some LESS-talented QBs. My frustration and concern are real … and so is this topic.
  4. I think this has been made abundantly clear by the multiple drafts and acquisitions who McDermott has all but refused to use. The disconnect between Beane and the coaching staff is something like I’ve never seen. Beane practically sacrificed his left nut to get a pass catching RB. Then Hines ends up being a returner. That’s just one of many examples. No … he really didn’t.
  5. Manning could barely move during the Super Bowl run and had nearly nothing to do with them winning.
  6. I don’t know who. But one who specializes in offense would be a start. Finding the right coach isn’t easy. But keeping a head coach who’s proven he’s incapable of taking a team to the next level will never be the correct decision. If simply making the playoffs is the goal, then yeah … McDermott’s the guy. That shouldn’t be the goal for a team with Josh Allen at QB.
  7. Making the playoffs was the goal when we drafted Allen. I have not forgotten the past and McDermott absolutely deserves credit for helping make the Bills a perennial playoff team. But we are beyond making the playoffs defining success. This regime has had five years to build and coach a team around a top tier QB that can not only make the playoffs, but to get into and win a Super Bowl. They took many steps forward and have since been taking steps back. Another early playoff exit will be another step back … and another year of Josh Allen pissed away. Piss poor coaching lost us the 13-seconds game. Piss poor coaching (and playing) led to an embarrassing playoff loss against Cincinnati. And those are two years following an AFCCG appearance. The trend is heading in the wrong direction. McDermott is the common denominator.
  8. If the Bills Don’t Make it to the AFCCG, Should McDermott Be Fired? I’m not in the Super Bowl or Bust crowd, but I am frustrated with what feels like Josh Allen’s prime years being wasted. The question posed is assuming Allen starts/plays every game this season. My vote is yes.
  9. The fact that the Giants didn’t throw Elam’s way all game long shows how much of an idiot Daboll is.
  10. Did McDermott happen to mention anything about he and Beane are rapidly heading toward accomplishing nothing during Allen’s prime years? No need to answer. I know that arrogant prick never takes accountability.
  11. I left that ship in France in August 1993. I might be! 😂
  12. Beane’s “turn a blind eye” approach to WR2 ranks up there with heading into the season with Nate Peterman and rookie Josh Allen. Utterly stupid.
  13. From my vantage point (not re: this video), they both seem like *****.
  14. All I ever knew about him was that he was the Secretary of the Navy and responsible for banning alcohol on naval vessels! Our ship’s flag was a knockoff of a Jack Daniel’s label, but said Old No. 27!!
  15. My brother served on the Ike. I went on a tiger cruise back in 1987. Three years later, we were both stationed in Norfolk. He was on the USS South Carolina. I was on the USS Josephus Daniels (CG-27).
  16. That is squarely on Beane. Belichick did a great job building a round his top tier QB and it resulted in rings.
  17. They gave up more total yards, more rushing yards, more passing yards and more time of possession …. Against the worst team in the NFL with a backup QB who is utter garbage. Yeah … they won the game.
  18. Giving up more drive extending long third downs. It’s a trend. And against pretty crappy QBs. Decent offenses will destroy this shitshow of a backfield.
