  1. Many factors, but my knee-jerk response to this is that Beane has not done well addressing the lines on both sides of the ball. I think Beane has done a fantastic job overall, and I wouldn't want anyone else at GM. But the success this team has had has been because of one person: Josh Allen. Not many QBs would be as successful behind that crap line. And the defense, while on paper and with deceiving statistics saying it's a "Top D," has been a failure. Everyone wants to bang the 13-second drum, but the fact remains that giving up 36 points in regulation is not going to result in a W the vast majority of the time. Last season was the easiest road to the Super Bowl the Bills will likely ever see. Poor coaching is what kept the Bills from going to/winning the Super Bowl. But still, I would be shocked if the Bills don't win at least one in the next 4-5 years.
  2. Are you talking about the Bills organization in its history (zero Lombardis), or are you talking about the Bills under the Pegulas, or are you talking about the Beane/McDermott regime?
  3. I'm clearly in the minority, here, but I am actually happy with this. After Booger ... THEN LEVY .... this is a welcome and positive change for me. I'm getting a headache just thinking about Levy screaming at me for four fu*king hours every week. However, whenever the Manning Bros., are on - that's the channel my TV will be on.
  4. You make a good point about other QBs achieving success after many years. But after his amazing MVP season, he has regressed in each of the two following years. If the team ever goes far with him under center, it will be a run like the Dilfer Ravens and the Manning Broncos; where the QB meant next to nothing.
  5. Lamont is a great regular season player when healthy, but he will never lead a team deep into the playoffs. He's proven both of those things. As long as he is their QB, the Ravens are not a threat. He's just not that good.
  6. I was a big Bob Foster fan during his Bills tenure, too. His immediate drop-off was a head scratcher.

  9. Time Out: Easily my favorite song from the Blues Brothers. Okay ...GAME ON!!! Now, the doctor came in stinking of gin And proceeded to lie on the table He said, "Rocky, you met your match" And Rocky said, "Doc, it's only a scratch And I'll be better, I'll be better, Doc, as soon as I am able"
  10. Mother do you think they'll drop the bomb Mother do you think they'll like the song Mother do you think they'll try to break my balls Ooooh aah, Mother should I build a wall
  11. I'd be more successful trying to perform a frontal lobotomy!
  12. You're right. Something may very well be afoot, here.
  13. Seriously. Anyone who can be a top performer at a professional level in both baseball and football is an incredible and truly gifted athlete. I actually put Deion ahead of Bo.
  14. I'm sure Deion can afford prosthetics. Maybe then he can change is name to Roberto.
  15. I think both Deion and @John from Riversidewould have probably been better off if they were on a key-toe diet.
  16. How did you edit Kareem Hunt out of this?!?
  17. PM me your digits and I'll let you know.
  18. You really "nailed" that one.
  19. Also, between 11:30am - noon before heading to the stadium!

  21. I think we all know he won't be facing any criminal charge$.
  22. One would think that a database of all available players could be created and that a team could "eliminate" players they know they don't want, then go through a series of "if/then" scenarios. So if Bob Jones is who they want in the first round, and he gets snagged by another team before dropping to them, then the database would automatically tell them who their pick will be based on all of the previous picks and the "if/then" data they input previously. Maybe teams already do this; I don't know. But it seems like the logical way to go about it.
