Talking to my buddy the other day - getting harder and harder to watch the NFL - I listened to the game on Sunday and didn't get to see all the flags - after seeing them - wow some were simply non existent. Got home and watched the Sunday night game - flag after flag - the games are so chopped up and there is no flow to the play anymore. The flags - or non flags in Detroit's case - are simply making paying attention tough.

The $42M just goes to the massive-massive waste of time and money involvement in the Middle East is. We have spent trillions - just this century - on the folly of the ME. If we had spent this money on self reliant energy strategy we woud not care what goes on there - and likewise - our presence would not provide angst for the locals. The power of the military industrial complex - the answer to everything is military action.

I almost think DS wrote this with his tongue in cheek - it is so over the top - and Boston wonders why they are hated - can't remember Bills writers being like this in SB years.. To me the biggest change is the Bills ownership - which is left out of this conversation. For 50 years we had Ralph - who bless his heart - didn't move Bills. But he was arguably the worst owner both in terms of performance and management. The two guys who brought him to the top - Saban and Polian - essentially quit because of RW. That ended last year and now we have TP - willing to install top shelf management and coaching - willing to spend on players. The RW era could be predictably bad - but that is past and can't be a predictor of the future.

Seeing what the locals are saying....currently they are rattling on non-stop....about deflategate....how Brady was framed, how the report was wrong, how the physics doesn't work....holy crap do these guys have a persecution complex. The rest of the world has moved on....but its more fun being wronged I guess....

The whole hike seems completely overblown....a rate hike from 0 to 1 percent is inconsequential - still pretty much free money - rates hikes won't have an appreciable effect until 3-4 percent. Symbolism....?
