  1. And they buffalo can't support a team. Here's to the greatest NFL fans!
  2. See "Napoleon Dynamite" -->UNCLE RICO Worth bringing in Bulger, change of scenery may benefit him. I think he is a better option then any current roster QB, as well as Campbell or Smith. Bulger is not long term franchise QB, but he could get a few quality years in while the Bills rebuild. I say get LT in this draft then maybe go QB in rounds 3 or higher, or wait until next year to find franchise QB.
  3. Would love to move up, but don't see it happening. The Bills would be giving up too much.
  4. Nor is it worth giving up valuable picks to get back into first round and selecting him. The only scenario I see that where the Bills should take him is if he is still available with our second pick!
  5. Thanks for the link. I was never a Tebow fan, but after watching video, I must admit my opinion has changed a bit. That being said, he is still not worthy of a top 10 first round pick.
  6. I have heard this on sports radio in Detroit for the past month or so. Would like to see a 2nd round pick but if we can get a third rounder we should do it!
  7. Rumors have been flying around in Detroit that the Lions may be willing to deal their pick. They need a RB and Lynch is only a year removed from the Pro Bowl. Lynch + #9 pick + Bills 5th or 6th maybe enough to get #2 My only issue making the trade is that usually the top 3 picks get huge sums of $$ for unproven talent. This can haunt teams for years when the cap is/if in effect.
  8. If Campbell is brought in via trade, then he is handsdown the starter of the team. Otherwise, why make the trade and lose picks? Campbell may be a slight improvement over the other 3, but only b/c he has more experience. Best long term scenario for the Bills... LT in round 1, QB of future drafted in round 2 or later. Don't overpay and lose draft picks on mediocre QB!
  9. Did I miss something... the Bills are already in the first round and in the top 15 of round 2!
  10. Should have been a bit more specific, but I was thinking #9 pick + Lynch + (fill in the blanK) for Lions #2. Anyway, my point was that Nix should inquire about sending Lynch to the Lions because the Lions are looking to get a RB and are looking at offers for the #2 pick.
  11. I think the Lions are looking for a RB. Why doesn't Nix look into swapping first rounders while adding Lynch into our offer? We could then get the best player in the draft with the second pick.
  12. Even with all the needs of the Bills, getting 2 starters out of round 2-7 would lead me to believe that it was a successful draft. Above 2 starters in those rounds would be an exceptional draft (Assuming that this year's first rounder will be a starter). 1 starter in rounds 2 to 7 would probably be on par with the rest of the league.

Bringing campbell is not an impact move at the QB position and does not improve the team, especially if we have to give up any picks. The Bills have too many holes and need all the picks they can get to fill them. I would still rather see the Bills have Edwards/Brohm/Fitz/2nd round (or higher pick) compete for the starting role next year.

  15. [/quote- MotownBillsFan] FYI, I don't have no problem with the fact that many Bills fans reside in Canada. Just like many Red Wings fans reside in Windsor. It's a phenomenon called geographic location. Uhm i think you forgot that you said "Wrong sport, wrong country". So that is why i said that many Canadians are bills fans which is why we are active on this forum and will talk to each other about Canada's hockey team just like Americans and their hockey team. I never said that you had a problem with it, but just explaining why we do. Good point Dute, I should have been a little more clear. Anyway, I didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings. I love all this banter.
  16. Donte AND A DRAFT PICK, JUST SAY NO! The Bills are not in a position to give up picks in this year's draft, unless they go on a massive shopping spree. I would consider the trade though, if it were straight up Whitner for Campbell.
  17. Come on dude, enough depth to be ranked 1-4? If true, how come their pro players are ranked 6 after the prelims? Don't get me wrong, Canada has one of the top three teams in the Olympics (maybe the best), but they aren't as dominate as Canadians think. If nearly as high of a percentage of Americans (or Germans or Russians or fill in the blank of a country other than Canada) played hockey as does the % of canadians, I'm sure you would be singing a different tune my friend to the North.
  18. FYI, I don't have no problem with the fact that many Bills fans reside in Canada. Just like many Red Wings fans reside in Windsor. It's a phenomenon called geographic location. Buffalo has to reach out to surrounding areas because there is a density of people living outside the city to fill about 80000 seats and we all are aware that it is a smaller market. My initial point is that this is site devoted to BUFFALO BILLS FOOTBALL, a product of the NFL. This thread deserves to be another site, like maybe an NHL site or Canadian hockey site. Please don't think I am anti-Canada, I find the threads about the Yankees just as or more so, unnecessary.
  19. What is "The Official Canada Olympic Hockey Thread" doing on this site? Wrong sport, wrong country. But what really has me PO'd is that most spectators at today's US vs. Switzerland (today) were rooting for the Swiss and most of those spectators were wearing Canadian Olympic Jerseys. USA hockey has come a long way, far enough that the country that invented the sport of hockey doesn't want to see the one of tournaments best team make it to the medal rounds. Dare I say, the Canadians fear the US hockey squad. They even made excuses and pulled arguably the best NHL goalie ever for a local favorite. Just think, the average age of the US team is around 24-26 and will be an international force for some time. U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!
  20. NFL: Bills NHL: Sabres MLB: Red Sox College Football: Penn State (not religiously) NBA: Celtics (not religiously)
  21. I would be unhappy too. God I hope the Bills don't draft him if he is available!
  22. Does this get him into HOF? If not, what does it take for a punter to get into the Hall?
  23. Dolphins used to be at the head of the list but the rivalry hasn't been the same since Kelly and Marino retired. 1. Patriots (If the Bills could just beat them once!) 2. Cowboys (Wade is not likeable!) 3. Jets (Rex Ryan will be a thorn in our side for years to come) 4. Dolphins (More historical hatred if anything)
