  1. Agree, most teams aren't willing to part with their scorers. However, come trading deadline, they are always a few teams looking to either dump salary or trade a star who will be a free agent. One name that comes to mind is Kovalchuk. Doubt Reiger would go for a big name though. On a side note, was hoping to see Biron come back to B-Lo after earlier rumors in the year. He likes Buffalo and can hold his own in net. Ruff could play him more frequent than Lalime, giving Miller more rest for a playoff run.
  2. Sabres have 2 needs: 1. Backup goalie who will win games 2. A more consistent scoring forward (around 40 goals a year) I think with these 2 pieces a cup is more of a possibility.
  3. Per Free Press of Detroit...Cleveland Plain Dealer speculates that the Browns may want to deal stud NT. He's a monster when healthy. http://freep.com/article/20100123/SPORTS01...DT-Shaun-Rogers? With Cribbs being unhappy with Browns management, would Browns go for a package deal? Would love to see both here. If you were Buddy, would you pursue Rogers? What would you offer?
  4. I can't wait to move back to Buffalo and get my season tickets again.... and no, there is no sarcasm here (seriously!)
  5. I have put my faith in Jim Kelly for leading to us many a victories in 80s and 90s. Now I lay that faith in him to help us find and bring a competent HC to the great city of Buffalo. He will help RW, RB and BN find the right coach. He won't let us down. May the force be with him! (I know he doesn't really have a say but he is vocal about the team and this is the only thing keeping me sane from all the madness surrounding the Bills search)
  6. Doesn't change my mind because I never thought the Bills should consider Tebow. He is vastly overrated as a QB. While he is a winner and possibly a good leader, he benefited from playing on the #1 ranked team in the country. He is not the QB the Bills need (neither is Clausen!).
  7. Why is everyone so high up on Clausen and Tebow? Just because they come from storied college football programs doesn't mean they will be successful in the NFL. See highly touted Brady Quinn and Danny Wuerffel!
  8. Argree! Many previous posts want a proven coach not a coordinator. Dungy is a Super Bowl WINNING coach. Don't get much more qualified then that.
  9. I love how the former great Bills (Kelly, Thurman, Talley) are speaking their mine on the state of the team. Hopefully they can influence Ralph in making some more good moves in order to get this team back on the right track
  10. Hate to burst everyone's bubble on getting "Chucky" as a new coach, but Jon Gruden just signed a multi year deal to stay with ESPN and Monday Night Football. Link below: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4659441
  11. Looked very average against OSU this past weekend. OSU defense is mediocre. In a big game, a good QB will step up their game. McCoy failed that test.
  12. Nothing more annoying than NY Yankees and their fans. MLB is so tainted. The Yankees big 3 free agent signings last year make more $$ than the whole Kansas City Royals team. Ridiculous. MLB may have a salary cap but the only penalty for going over is a tax. At least the NFL does it right, with an enforced cap.
  13. I find it hard that the Bills will draft a QB with a first round pick next year, especially with holes at O tackle and mediocre D line and LBs!
  14. Rumor posted on ESPN Insider by Schefter. http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/features/ru...atures%2frumors Anyone subscribe to Insider? If so, what does it say? What are everyone's thoughts? What could the Bills get for TO at this point?
  15. Thanks, Philly is my other choice. Just wanted to see what if this would be the week to use the Bills!
  16. Good week to take the Bills or should I avoid them?
  17. I think Pennington was one of the best QBs at making decisions and managing the game. Dolphin O will definitely be taking a hit Nice bonus if Porter is not 100% the bills desperately need to beat a division opponent
  18. two picks for the Bills! That takes some ballz!! NE hasn't impressed so far this year. Their Running game is mediocre and most of Brady's yards were against the Bills soft coverage. I think Atlanta has some serious weapons (Gonzalez, White, Turner) on offense that can take it to the Pats and if the Falcons learned anything from the Jets on defense last weekend, can possibly win with relative ease
  19. I tried to contact them, they are out of the standing buffalo and only have a new design.
  20. Thanks for the input, as soon as I get one, I will be sure to do that. I just need to find one first!
  21. Last time I was in town, I saw the M&T car magnet with the Standing Buffalo on it. Anyone know where I can find one these days? There aren't any on Ebay and M&T has switched the style. Would love to drive around Detroit with one!
