  1. I wish Everett would have went off on Rome's face. That being said, I must admit I will listen to Rome when he's on and I'm driving. He's less painful than the local sports radio and all their talk about U of M football.
  2. "What moves would you like to see the Bills front office make in this upcoming offseason?"
  3. At least he acknowledged that there is a team in Buffalo
  4. Flacco, Schaub and Orton are the names that popped into my head and are probably better then Fitzpatrick. But, I agree with your last point. Fitz has proven to be better than adequate. My verdict, just say no to a QB in round 1.
  5. Thanks for the breakdown, gives me some ammo for football talk at work
  6. I thought Johnson could have made contact while they fell to the ground too. Was this play inside 2 minutes though? I also thought the CB was all over Stevie and thought a flag should have been thrown. I didn't see any replays, but wonder if anyone had a chance to rewatch and see if a penalty should have been called on the Steelers CB?
  7. I totally agree. The Bills throwbacks are one of the top unis in the NFL.
  8. As of now, Sabres are a much more of a disappointment than the Bills.
  9. Denard Robinson is not the answer to the Bills QB issue, no matter how impressive stats are. Successful running QBs in college have a very poor record in the NFL.
  10. Agree, as much as I'd like to see a downtown stadium to help revive the city, Niagara Falls location makes sense for a more international appeal and stimulating the economy.
  11. The population density is much greater to the North. So if a new stadium were to be built, it makes more sense to built it (preferably) Downtown (water front? old Shooter's site?) or Niagara Falls. This would draw more people from Canada/Toronto, which the NFL seems so desperately wanting to do.
  12. Wow! I didn't know about the streak. Hope this will be one of the Bills 4 wins this year.
  13. This has been said for a few years now. Wilson will leave the team to his family, whom would most likely sell the team to the highest bidder. I just hope he/they would give Kelly and his group first dibs.
  14. I am from the camp where I don't think Kelsay deserves a roster spot next/ extension. Please convince me otherwise.
  15. So much for any trade offers from other teams.
  16. THis is amazing. The Bills lack playmakers and talent at almost every position and not one starter? I do think Spiller and Troup will be in a year or 2 though.
  17. More then Trent has gotten in either game, but not enough to break the string of more than 300 yards!
  18. You got to add DT or DE to this list
  19. Besides G, CB, RB, P, S everything else is a position of need.
  20. This is a new wrinkle in Gailey's game plan against the Pats. Hopefully the Pats won't know how to prepare.
  21. The Panthers announce Clausen will start this week while the Bills announce Fitz will start this week. Interesting to see which team will have better success.
  22. Looks like the end of the Trent's career in Buffalo!
  23. It would be a very sad day.Don't think I could root for any other team for long, long time. I would still watch games and probably get more into fantasy football.
  24. Besides the draft class of the most recent draft and Wood, Byrd, Moorman, possibly Levitre/McGee/McKelvin, I think anyone is expendable. I'd like to add Kyle Williams but he doesn't fit the mold for the new D scheme. The Bills have clearly hit rock bottom (but I am afraid to admit they can still sink some more) and have to/are rebuilding. I think Nix and gailey both know this and are just trying to put out the most competitive team they can with the players and talent they have. With a possible lockout looming, unfortunately it's not good business for the Bills to go out and spend tons of money on proven talent via free agency (which they didn't do this past offseason-as we all know). I think they are trying to evaluate and develop whatever talent they have on the roster. Going into this season I thought Edwards was realistically the only possible franchise QB the Bills had. Gailey and Nix needed to know if Trent could turn it around this year and do better. now that we know he can't be a franchise QB, it's time to move on. As much as we'd all like a proven veteran coming in here to salvage anything, it's highly unlikely. The bills should now start Fitz to try to spark the Offense and make the Bills competitive. Trades will help Stockpile draft picks for next year which will hopefully be used to fill needs. This process is crucial to rebuilding. I don't know why that was not accomplished this past draft, of course unless this is all part of the plan. The Bills don't have many pieces to build a solid team around and this with this past draft it is too early to tell. So in my opinion, almost everyone is expendable.
