  1. I think QB play should be rated way below average. Rarely, if any, does Fitz make plays or extend plays or make throws. He is benefiting from the scheme Gailey has created to maximize the benefits and minimize the mistakes.
  2. That video stills gives me the chills. IMO, the greatest halftime show yet.
  3. I don't think so, but I'm looking forward to his new movie next year!
  4. I'm with ya, I'll be moving back to the area in hopefully 2 more years. Can't wait until I get my seasons again!
  5. Born and raised in Buffalo, an ALL-AMERICAN CITY Now living in Royal Oak, MI (just outside Detroit)
  6. Confirmed from Bills text saying Williams is spending another night and returning to OBD tomorrow.
  7. I think Evans would help the Bills the O, however his game was going deep and Fitz just doesn't have the arm to get him the ball.
  8. Agree with most of your other posts: 1. Patriots: maybe you have to respect Brady on the field, however still he is whiny and annoying, so maybe you don't and where were all those Patriot fans in the early to mid 90's 2. Jets: Rex Ryan is arrogant and obnoxious 3. Cowboys: self proclaimed America's team is BS 4. Miami: Was #1 enemy during Kelly era 5. Giants: Super Bowl 25 6. Oakland: Silver and Black, yes cool colors but not a reason to like a team as many Raiders fans do (IMO)
  9. 7-9 is better than I expected when season started so I'll take it. Granted starting 3-0 got my hopes up but I'm a pessimist so a collapse doesn't surprise especially with key injuries and lack of depth. Losing record gives Bills a better draft pick (not that it's going to be guaranteed) to addresses the Bills biggest needs (Pass rusher, OLB (nice to get both in one pick), shut down CB or #1 WR). No QB needed in first round, Fitz is adequate. The D has been the biggest disappointing aspect of the Bills this year IMO. Unless the Bills win out or the D moves up in ranking to #20 or better overall, Edwards has to go. Side note: The Bills have to dump this rely on building through the draft philosophy. Free agents will bring leadership, quality and depth (see Barnett), they just have to convince players to sign here.
  10. Coming from Detroit and first game in over four years. Looking forward to good pizza and wings, Wegmans, hitting up Elmwood strip and possibly Chippewa for old times sake. Then game on Sunday, so Pumped! Hoping Jets fans are at a minimum. Want the Ralph to be rocking!
  11. Disagree, maybe I'm a minority but I still call it and think of it as Rich Stadium at times. Selling the naming rights makes sense if they want to increase revenue, would help offset costs to county to update. If Ralph wants something named after him change a street name to Ralph Wilson Blvd or call the Fieldhouse the Ralph Wilson Fieldhouse.
  12. I live in the Detroit metro area and the above is a more accurate picture of Detroit. Not much going on unless Lions or Tigers are playing. While I liked Ford Field, I don't care much for the game day experience. Concession stands maybe more prevalent but don't offer much in quality of food. Like the idea of downtown stadium but lose the tailgating atmosphere as seen in Orchard Park (unless that has changed with new parking rules). Can't stand the Lions fight song either. Yes, there are more restaurants and bars around the stadium, but still prefer tailgating to hanging out at bar or restaurant before or after, that's for hockey games. Football=Tailgating BTW, there are casino(s) downtown and NO, they haven't done much to boost the city's economy. Detroit is a baseball city first , check out Comerica Park which is an awesome park (one of the best) with an equally great time.
  13. Have they increased other Bills values since early season success?
  14. Bills needs as I see 'em, in order: 1. Best pass rusher: Either OLB (prefer) or DE (improved pass rush helps secondary) 2. CB (A. Williams may change this priority if he performs when healthy and some more experience) 3. OLB 4. OT 5. O-Line depth (Tackle>Guard>Center), maybe upgrade a current starter 6. QB (Need to get franchise QB at some point over the next 2 years) 7. WR (too many injuries, possibly injury prone) 8. D-Line depth
  15. He may have missed some coverage assignments and some tackles but I am extremely impressed with Barnett. He is almost always around the ball and He has become the leader of the d. Extra props to him. Hopefully the young LBs are studying his game an learning from him.
  16. I like the idea of playing Spiller and Brad Smith at WR more.
  17. Loved the way Byrd and Wilson have played overall. Haven't played close attention to their coverage, but Wilson has been a tackling machine and made some nice plays against the run and a few turnovers (should of had one against the Bengals) and Byrd has made some nice hard hits always going after the ball and created a few turnovers on his own.
  18. Can't help with tickets, but North on Transit Road where it crosses the 90 ( in Lancaster) are many hotels. I was able to get a room a week before the Patriots game.
  19. Can't agree with you on this. If Fitz plays like that every week, the Bills will be under .500, unfortunately he played like this for many stretches last year and had trouble with his accuracy.
  20. I say wear items for one week and then sell it off for charity. There are many others cancers that cause more deaths than breast that aren't being recognized. Four weeks wearing is excessive.
  21. Agree with McKelvin comment and if McGee ever plays again, McKelvin's role will be greatly diminished. As far as Merriman, the Bengals didn't just run outside, they ran inside. Either our D line is getting easily blocked allowing a second line of blocks on our LBs or the LBs aren't making the plays.
  22. Top 2012 Bills draft needs (in order): 1. Cornerback 2. Pass Rusher 3. Quarterback 4. Run Stopper D Lineman (if can get 2 and 4 in one person great would be great)
