No one seemed to care about what he did “on the field.” So many made proclamations about how they’d be willing to quit their fandom if Buffalo pursued Vick during our QB purgatory and drought. From the 35 second mark to the 38 second of the replay, Phillips does not let go of Knox. I despise rules not being applied uniformly. We did plenty to lose the game up until that point. And who knows, we still might not have scored. But you know NE gets that call on the other end of the field.

I’ve read about drills in training camp using wet footballs to focus on techniques for playing in rain, but I haven’t come across any articles about the Bills specifically practicing with cold or wet footballs for an upcoming game. Is this urban legend? The Colts game seemed to show a team that was unprepared to play in weather. Belichick says that he doesn’t worry about the weather until he arrives at the stadium. Somehow I doubt that.
