I think you're right on the money with your analysis of this situation. If they were truly this healthy, why announce it to the world? Why give the Pats the opportunity to prepare for for both guys? It only makes sense if it's a ruse.

I've always wished we played in the same division as the Steelers and Browns, but if the NFL were to realign along geographic lines, I think you'd see Miami go to the South, Baltimore to the east and Indy would move to the North. It just makes more sense geographically.

What about Scorin Dorin? Can't he play some RB in a pinch? He's faster then McIntyre and if used correctly could be quite a threat as receiver out of the backfield a la Larry Centers.

With Fred injured, there were only 2 RB on the roster. I don't think anyone ever dresses just 2 RB in the NFL. We still have enough WRs and I think Brad Smith may be used more extensively there. He performed pretty well there last year and this year it's early enough where he could actually get good at the position. Lord knows he's better than Ruvell Martin. I wish we would have held on to Hagan instead of Martin. Don't worry PTR it's early in the season so there's plenty of time to resign Naman Roosevelt when aomone else goes in IR. If they look this bad again next week, I'd fire Gailey, Wanny and Dehaven. The next two weeks are very winnable games. If the lose those, I see the wheels flying off the season ending with regime change. I've never been impressed with Wanny and I wished they would have hire Mangini to head the defense. Our defense looked pathetic today. I know Fitz sucked but I didn't see the defense hold the Jets at all. There was no pressure AND our secondary was constantly in the wrong coverage. That's on the coaches.

Why not cut McGee and give someone with a possible future in this league his roster spot. No one else is signing an old corner with a bum knee. We can always resign him when he's healthy if we miss him . Remember if he makes the final 53 man roster on Monday his salary for this year is guaranteed.

You have to make the final roster first. Only players who were placed on IR after Tues. Sept. 4th will be eligible to be reactivated. Not sure on how long must a player be on IR before he can be reactivated.
