  1. How would it have hurt the Bills to tender Nelson the minimum contract and bring him to camp and let him compete for a roster spot? Sure he's slow but he's tall and has good hands. He's a pretty nice target in the red zone, someplace we've struggled lately. I'd rather have Nelson or Brad Smith over Hogan right now.
  2. We'll there's you real conpiracy theory. Maybe he's got insurance that will pay him millions if he gets injured and doesn't go in the top ten. So he feigns PF aka Byrd syndrome, collects on the insurance, still gets drafted in the 1st, has a monster rookie season, and renegotiates a monster deal after year 2.
  3. Any hotel close to Public Square is good if you're going to the game
  4. May I suggest a Chinese restaurant called Boo Loong. It's in Cleveland's rudimentary Chinatown at 3922 St. Clair st. It's open until 2 and has great authentic chinese food. Most of the patrons are Asian and doing karaoke after 10pm. Get tge spring rolls and the shrimp with scrambled egg ( sounds gross but it's heavenly). I goe every single time I get back to Cleveland

  6. I think Easley has earned some time with the ones next week. If he performs well the rest of the preseason, I'd keep him over Smith. I'm not sure TJ has a lock at a roster spot. This staff didn't draft him and Woods looks more ready. If Easely blossoms and they want to keep Smith, TJ could be the odd man out. I really liked what I saw from Kaufman more than Hogan.
  7. I find it odd that the Steelers at 14 are below GB, Balt, and Indy. TB seems over valued at 18 and ATL seems undervalued at 28 Thanks for the cliffs notes BW
  8. If he out plays Kolb and TJ in training camp and preseason, then yes he should. If he doesn't, then no he shouldn't. It's that simple
  9. I think Kolb will start but they will have a package of designed plays for EJ that they will sprinkle in increasingly as the year progresses.
  10. Maybe he should try working pug in the off season. Or was it too much working out?
  11. Well in my original post I intimated that if NYSU became a successful football program, a new shared football stadium in WNY could be more feasible
  12. Isn't everyone's goal to win the Super Bowl every season? This is the stupidest fake issue ever created by a half-wit blogger. If it Sanchez or Tannehill said the same no one would have batted an eye
  13. Sorry Sullivan tweeted a link to the article. i never read the by line, just assumed he wrote it. My bad.
  14. I'm actually surprised that Promo hasn't jumped all over this. While I think the knee jerk reaction is to think this is bad for Buffalo, I think in the long run it might be better for the school and the region. This could greatly raise the profile of the program and bring more money for the school. Perhaps a new shared stadium with the BILLS could be an option? http://blogs.buffalonews.com/campus/2013/04/ub-or-not-ub-that-is-the-question.html?ref=bmh”
  15. Why trade for Flynn when you can sign Kolb to a much more reasonable contract without giving up a draft pick. Neither is the answer but if they want a veteran back up on the roster to compete and groom the rookie, Kolb makes more sense. No?
  16. The smart move would be to sign Kolb and draft a project QB in the 3rd like Tyler Bray. That way you can use rounds 1 & 2 to fill other holes. If Kolb plays well you keep him and continue to groom the project QB, or more likely he sucks and we suck next year, and we can draft one of the top three QBs in the 1st next year. Then we'd have open competition at QB the next year with a pretty solid supporting cast. It may not be pretty but I think it's our best option.
  17. I was hoping it would do for the Bills what Major League did for the Indians of the mid 90's. It's not fair that Clevelamd get both boosts.
  18. http://blogs.buffalonews.com/press-coverage/2013/03/andy-levitre-is-waiting-bills-should-at-least-throw-me-an-offer.html Well it looks like they haven't even made Levitre an offer yet. And Tag on Byrd non-exclusive. Someone asked above
  19. He should sue the NFL to allow him in the supplemental draft. This 3 year rule is stupid.
