  1. Can't help but want to root for this kid. Glad he's a Bill.

  3. So far so good. Love Striker and Baby Gronk. Maybe he could recruit his brother someday to leave those shameful Patriots.
  4. two more picks and it is on! Dougy is a dialing right now. Bills are working the phones. Any bets on who the first names off the board on UDFA are? I want to see the names Cash FS Braunecker TE Powell SS Fairbairn (UCLA K) Garret WR Tulsa Seau OLB Nevada (nephew of Jr.) CBS sports draft tracker Kalan Reed, Mr. Irrelevant. Draft is over and UDFA is on!
  5. Anyone have intel on this kid? 145 Ben Braunecker TE 6 Harvard Sr 6-3 250 4-5
  6. Ok gents and scholars, Who is left that we should be attacking right now? I know a bunch of you were clamoring for Scooby Wright III at LB and he's still available. How about Jeremy Cash SS from Duke? Any intel on this kid? Him and Mills were slated as 3rd round talent and dropped. EDIT: Mills went to Philly. Another safety that came up a few times was Tyvis Powell from Ohio State. With our run on Buckeyes, maybe UDFA? Lawyer from Cal is still available too. If he falls past the 7th is his phone ringing from Dougy? The highest rated OT is Avery Young from Auburn. Nobody claimed hometown boy Little Gronk the FB. What needs can we even fill in FA and UDFA that can make any roster impact or do you all feel we are set entering 2016? 7. That QB made some nice throws too. Hope this kid pans out and is not fragile like Harvin, Goodwin, Graham and Roscoe. He seems a little bigger and he had some nice separation in these highlights. Hands seem decent too. So far there is a lot to like in this draft.
  8. Yep, it's an unwatchable piece of crap. Football is becoming too much commercialized entertainment and not enough real football. I think they ease up for the simple minded like everything else in the entertainment world. Gone are the days of depth, analysis, insight and real conversation. Everything is superficial hype and eye candy, coated with cute slogans and catch phrases. Trying to please everyone, ends up turning off the real fans. You can't blame the NFL because it is succeeding and selling and that is the point of the business. It would be nice to have a button for dual coverage. One for real fans and one for dipshits.
  9. The other common denominator is that they all have red flags and are boom or bust types. Not one of them is a sure thing, but each one can be a star if everything goes right and they stay healthy.
  10. This makes sense, so the Bills won't do it. They always outsmart us and take some guy we never heard of, or rarely heard of but would never expect to pick that high... Good job and I look forward to this weekend. GO BILLS!
  11. That one is brutal, if it goes down like this, I am going to have to find something else to do on Sundays.
  12. We just tend to play flat every time we head out west. The Raiders are much improved and that will be a lot to overcome. After traveling out west to play Seattle, then back to Cinci, then an improved Jacksonville game which we should win, then heading out west again. I just don't see a Rex Ryan coached team on the top of their game for this one.

  14. I seem to remember the last time the Bills really liked a mid round QB. We loved him so much we traded up in the third and took.. TJ Graham. The QB we thought we'd get in the 4th was Russel Wilson. We know how that went... If we really want Cardale, we better take him this time and not the 72nd ranked receiver. I nearly buried my computer that day!
  15. It's all in the name REX! Rex wrecks teams. This was a bad hire that will BURN! That is the crash and burn. Incompetence at the top. With clown twin in tow, this defense will burn. To think Blake going to fix the pass rush is to think Trump can fix Washington. I hope I eat crow on both, but fool me once... fool me twice... fool me 20 freakin times...DAMN! If the Bills stay healthy and TT improves, and that is a BIG IF, there is a chance they remain competitive and put up some points, and maybe crawl to 8-8. But I see mutiny. I see Rex losing control by taking control. He will implement HIS defense and the complications will slow everyone down AGAIN. Brady will shred it for 40+ and anyone with a competent QB will go for 300+ passing yards and 3-4 TD's per. There will be no sacks or turnovers again and we will be forced to abandon the run and we are supposed to be a running team. Out of our element, we keep playing catch up and just don't have the wheels of the better teams. Throw in a few out of control stupid Jacksonville like losses and we cry the same tears another year. The only light at the end of the tunnel is IF there is a competent head coach who wins that would be willing to eat Pegs money.... There you have it Bills fans. I will cheer and root for our boys, but for the first time in 40+ years I may actually skip a few games and enjoy my life without spending three hours of frustration in front of the tv.
  16. Thanks for your posts Bill. I am in agreement. For the first time in over 40 years I am not excited about Bills football. Rex is a total clown and he destroyed an up and coming team. I see huge regression and no accountability. Hopefully Pegs wises up and ships this fool out after another lost season. I'm seeing 6-10 or 5-11 or worse depending on how soon the players begin their mutiny.
  17. Hell no! Just having Rex around is a step in the wrong direction. As other said, our losses so far are pretty big and we've made no gains. If Ed Reed becomes a good coach and the bumbling Ryan's can somehow make the Defense work we may struggle to get to 8-8, 9-7 tops. But this is not a playoff team unless we really make some moves.
  18. 2016 Bills: Start Drinking Now! Crave the Futility! We'll let you down easy this year! Let It Go! Finding creative ways to lose since 1960 No Excuses. No Playoffs Rex it good! Don't Get Emotional! 2016 Bills Smell De Feet!
  19. Not Rex's defense. I think if we kept Schwartz's D we could have gone toe to toe with Denver and won the AFC East. Defense over Brady, he's getting old. I'd take Ben, Newton or Rodgers with our O and the #2 D.
  20. KUDOS TO WADE! The man deserves a nod. It was a great Defensive game plan.
  21. After watching the Four Falls of Buffalo I was rudely reminded that Bill Belichick was the Giants Defensive Coordinator who crashed the Bills K-Gun and robbed them of their First SuperBowl. Granted a lot of partying was going on and the Bills were riding high after throwing down 51 against Oakland. These Bills were unstoppable, but Belichick through them for a loop with his 2-5 defense. No one had seen a D like this and the Bills never really adjusted their tempo or game plan to exploit what the Giants were doing. Twenty five years later that little scoundrel still has our number. He's confounded our coordinators for two decades, laying the Bills into a stupor and sending them into the wallowing halls of mediocracy. When I think back on how many times he has out coached us, it turns my stomach a bit. Watching the Four Falls was nostalgic but I couldn't help but think of what would have become of the Bills is they won that first one. I understand the 4th loss a little better and saw the pressure of 2 and 3. We may never see a run like that in the NFL again. It made me proud to be a Buffalonian, but also very sad. Those were the days of my youth and all these years later seeing everyone come and go and still not a whiff of the glory. How I wish Rex could pull it together and get this team over the hump. And just like Beebe knocking the ball out of Lett's hand, I will keep going, keep believing and keep following my beloved Bills.
  22. She can control my quality any day, however I do not think this is the chick the Bills hired.
