    This is the fallacy of the chart. It's obvious that the values don't hold up because those trade's don't occur. If anyone could get a 'better' deal than the chart provides, they would certainly take it..but in those very high round picks, it doesn't happen, why? The salaries do not match up with the value.

    Holy crap, Buddy asleep at the wheel again! How has he not signed this guy to the biggest contract in NFL history?! The Patriots are LOOKING at him. That already would make him the best player on this team.

    don't forget the 'too big to fail' security. Were the NFL to crash, there would certainly be a bailout. It's too big too fail.

    As stated, those draft 'value' chart are as bunk as can be...picks 2-5 aren't all that attractive.

    The Sabres may have been 'more liked' due to their success on the ice, but they have not been more popular. The Ralph can set 70k and I find it unlikely that you'd be able to get that many fans to a Hockey game in Buffalo more than once every couple years. The popularity of even losing NFL franchises dwarfs NHL franchises except for maybe, Toronto.
