There's about five teams ahead of them even with their recent additions. Let's wait for Vick to have two good years (over multiple 'meh') years before anointing him as a great QB as well. Brady Quinn was considered a pretty good QB after his one year of solid play.
I doubt it. Someone with an ego like his would be difficult to take an offer from the Bills that likely isn't even on the table at the moment. I think he'd rather drop his price for another team.
Holy crap, the Bills still have holes to fill? NO WAI
This is *why* they're not singing the top tier free agents left and right. Too many holes to fill and tying up a great deal of money on a few positions makes it difficult to upgrade the overall talent level.
You completely misunderstand the point of this post and the problem afflicting many Bills fans such as yourself. It's not that we don't disagree with many decisions the team makes, but some people have entered into a pit of depression (some personal, some sports team related) and everything is the 'wrong' decision and the end of Buffalo ever winning another game.
As much as twitner annoys me, I wouldn't mind signing him just for the suicide watch on these boards.
He'll get the money he's looking for elsewhere..don't kid yourself. He's gonna get paid.
It's interesting because the people who love Peters explained this pretty well. How can you expect a guy who is outperforming his peers to sit well with a overpaid free agent underperforming? Cromartie? You really think throwing that kind of money at Cromartie is ultimately a good decision?
The philosophy is simple. The Bills lack talent and overpaying free agents to not win isn't going to correct the problem and promote a culture that you can cash in and not come to work if you play for the Bills.
